“Iconic Fairfax destination in the heart of town. Great food! Superb coffee! And wonderful friendly staff! Shout out to Mario who was both the cook and the server for my birthday outing. As it turned out it was also his birthday. Thanks for the delicious avocado toast, the yummy baklava dessert and the happy smiles, Mario! ¡Feliz cumpleaños!“
“It's all about the service here. The point of drive-thru coffee is convenience, right? (And coffee). And somehow Java Hut managed to make this convenience even more convenient. I drove up for the first time the other day. I had maybe one or two cars ahead of me. And an employee (or maybe even the owner) came up to my window to take my order, then brought it out and took my cash before I even made it to the order window! And on top of that, he gave me a dog treat for my dog, who was sitting in the passenger's seat. And not your run-of-the-mill milk bone, but a real, meaty jerky treat. I try to find places with walk up windows, since I pretty much always have my little dog with me (plus I still avoid bringing my not-yet-eligible-for-vaccination 3 year old to indoors spaces), so I was particularly pleased to see that Java Hut also has a walk-up window with pleasant looking covered patio seating. Coffee is Starbucks equivalent, I think, so not, say, Equator or Ritual, but a nicer, more pleasant, convenient, and local experience than Starbucks. And we enjoyed the scone!“

“Hidden gem! Everything is delicious and the space is lovely. Open, airy, welcoming (they even offer a tray of tiny hearts!), easy parking, and right next to the trail head for the lovely Hamilton portion of the SF Bay Trail. A fabulous spot for grab and go, dine in, or take out. I've been back two days in a row and very happy with my orders. Today's vegan Caesar salad + lemon mascarpone cheesecake were divine! Another nice thing is that if you fall in love with the food, you can also hire them for catering!“

“I love the Pump Espresso Bar. Love it. In fact, if I was lucky enough to work from home, I would work from the Pump. The inside is super cute, and it is oddly calming as soon as you walk in. This is saying a lot as I am one of the most high strung, overly driven humans and calm is not in my vocabulary. Lots of great coffee options, and they are all so good! The barista that helped us last time was fantastic and I want to give her all the kudos. She let me taste test their pumpkin syrup and she mentioned that they make it in house. I ended up going with the cardamom latte which seems to be the only drink I get at the Pump Espresso Bar. I keep telling myself to branch out and try a different beverage.Lots of food options that look delicious. The Pump Espresso Bar is always busy and it is such a welcoming local business that I am more than happy to give my business to.“

Everything was delicious, beautifully plated and perfectly cooked. Thank you, Coast Cafe, for a wonderful evening! “This place is the best and I hope they never close! I grew up in the area but now live out of the country and my family has relocated to the east bay but I still make the 60 min drive all the way to Jelly Donut whenever I come to visit them. The owners are super friendly and generous, often throwing in an extra freebie too. We've tried 4 other donut shops in the east bay and none are even close to as good as these. Long live Jelly Donut!“

“Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.“

“If you’re looking to get some yummy fresh boba tea then choose Teaspoon! I was impressed for my first time here.Drinks: The boba teas were fresh and light. They both tasted just right, not too sweet, and with great flavors. We tried the taro milk tea and the dirty ube and we would highly recommend both!Atmosphere: It was a charming little place with indoor and outdoor seating available. The place wasn’t too crowded as well and staff were friendly and welcoming.Price: Normal price for these quality drinks! You get what you pay for.Parking: Parking is found in the parking lot area outside of the many shops/restaurants. You don’t have to pay for it either.“

“Best ice cream in Sausalito IMHO. I’ve been here about five times and I always look forward to it. Any of the coffee flavored ice creams are great, but my personal favorite is the Oregon Cherry one. Expect Sausalito prices, but worth it. Great when you’re waiting for the ferry!“

“Great coffee great service most of the time. People working there need to learn to communicate and let customers know when they are backed up so when they make an order, they understand how long it will take instead of letting them know after the fact.“

“After an afternoon of hiking in Marin, my youngest daughter was enraged, so I decided to calm her down with coffee and pastries. It worked. We stumbled onto Emporio Rulli and I really wanted to love this place but something felt off. The food was very good and the service was stellar but the store was so empty that it felt strange to be virtually the only people there. Eventually, a few others stopped in but with the amount of pastries and cakes prepared, it appeared they were all ready for business and the customers didn’t come in that day.I look forward to coming back sometime soon as places like this really need local support. “The owner Cindy is the best barista I’ve met she loves to see customers happy with every cup of coffee she makes for them. She loves to have everything done with perfection and, let me say that’s what makes Bean Crema & Tea my favorite spot for coffee. They also, have very reasonable prices compared to other places and the best thing is that their pastries are home made, on top of that! they are very delicious. The atmosphere is great and makes me feel comfortable.“

“Looking for a coffee to go in the area we ended up in shoreline coffee shop. As we were walking towards the Cafe we preceived the aromas of the food coming to us and inviting us to stay and eat. The food was good and freshly cooked. It's a traditional breakfast place. It was sunny enough to sit outside. Coffee was good.“

“I went here for afternoon coffee and got the shakerato. Very creamy and not too sweet, I still think about it even a week later. It's not watered down either even with it being shaken to chill. Parking is not the best in the afternoon so just beware.“

“If you're an espresso coffee lover this is your place in Marin. Equator in Larkspur is the only spot to get a good quality cup of espresso based coffee in Central or North Marin (and frankly southern Marin's only decent coffee is their sister shop at surf shop at tam junction). They use great beans and they know how to make espresso drinks really well - a rarity in many places these days. These folks are consistent. Their cappuccinos have a rich and smooth taste, a the right temp, the right size and done well. Its also in a nice setting with outside seating. They have a really good frittata sandwich and some good pastries and I kinda like that their food menu isn't extensive. They stick to their specialty - COFFEE.“

“Friendly service. Plenty of staff. Located on a cute street great for walking and shopping. All the diary alternatives offered. “I had brunch there today and it was delicious! I had the California Benedict. The hollandaise was smooth and tasty, the avocado was abundant, plenty of spinach and I loved the toasted sourdough (in place of a regular muffin.) The accompanying fruit combo was nicely presented, plentiful, and fresh. My daughter had the creamy polenta with poached eggs and eggplant, and feta and loved it. We're definitely going back for more.“

“I was in San Francisco last month for GDC, and I stopped in at this Starbucks almost every morning on the way to the Moscone Center. The place was always packed with a long line of customers waiting, but the staff was pleasant and professional. They never seemed to get flustered by all the orders, and I always got a hot coffee and tasty breakfast sandwich quickly. The front counter was usually run by a young man with bright dyed hair. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but he was very professional and helpful. Thanks to the great staff here, they helped make the convention a great experience!“

“In order to commemorate National Açaí bowl day, I grabbed an Açaí bowl to kickstart the day. I ordered the Hapa bowl. The fruits were fresh but I wish there was more quantity of fruits and granola in the bowl. The taste of the acai was good, but the bananas were masking the berries taste. Would have appreciated the more if customization and more fruits were added.Happy National Açaí bowl day ?“

“The staff was amazing that day. It was sunday, October 23rd and my sister and i had just gotten back from a 10mile hike from Tennessee Trails in Mill valley so we needed a good cup of cappuccino (really yumy btw). From the moment we walked in we were greeted nicely. The barista and cashier (he was such a gentleman) took good care of our orders. I enjoyed my first visit there. I was kind of hoping they'd offer a free birthday drink for my sis and I as our birthday was on Oct 21st and 23rd. But it's ok, we enjoyed the service nonetheless and enjoyed talking about UFC :) THANKS again!“

“This quaint -hippie- modern coffee shop is too cute! Last time I was here there was a musician playing, and I love their organic coffee options! Plus all their sweets and even gluten free items. Hee. I always stop by here when I'm in the area.“
