Sushi King 5089 Business Center Dr #106, Fairfield Japanese • $$

“Went in on a weekday for lunch; tables were available with no wait time. Ordered and waited over 20 min for lunch bento boxes. Not sure why the kitchen chef took so long to cook as the 2 sushi chefs were very quick prepping the sushi rolls .Anyhow the foods were tasty especially the salmon teriyaki. Beef teriyaki was a bit chewy as they were cooked too well. Spicy tuna rolls were served with minced tuna. Ginger & wasabi available upon request”

Journey Coffee Company 370 Chadbourne Rd, Fairfield Coffee Shops • $

“My car was getting serviced at Ford and the Service Advisor recommended Journeys. I've never heard of it and decided to try. The atmosphere was really cool and spacious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and was told about 10-15 minutes and it was more like 20 and I had to keep checking because I didn't hear my name when they put an order up. I saw a teenager who came in after me pick up an order, so I went to check on mine and he mistakenly picked up mine. The service for food needs a little refinement but the food was good as was the tea.”

“Why did I order the Molcajete??? Because the server told me it was really really good!!! Well she lied!!!!!! It wasn't good...it was freaking amazing!!!!!! You get a really good portion so it's shareable if you have your boo with you and you're feeling extra sweet. Otherwise, you'll want to keep it to yourself and take your leftovers home for later. The owners should put a star next to this dish in the menu with a warning "Do not order this unless you live nearby and can come back to eat it again soon!" I'm only here visiting family for a few hours and then I'll be gone. I'm in my feelings 'cause I know I'm going to want to eat this dish again soon. All the different meats were seasoned perfectly and tender to ear and so delicious. It was my first time trying cactus! Not bad! A little tangy bite and complemented the dish well. The cheese was really good! The service and ambiance was great as well. Not a really big spot but big enough for families and possibly a large group if not crowded. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again. Until then...I'll be hunting for a similar dish to satisfy my taste buds #JamersonEATS”

“My son (47) and I (78) went there today. It recently opened. No one there except an Indian woman and man. It is their place. Nothing is prepared until you order. The fish is very hot when delivered to your table. The fries are great and properly salted. The onion rings were a disappointment. The cold slaw was just cabbage with mayo. The portions are adequate. Soft drinks in a can. We like to go to small, family restaurants. We will not be going back to this one.”

“The use of chopped toppings rather than sliced is a great idea. The crust has the right amount of crisp with a soft texture inside. Their pizza sauce is perfect and doesn't have that heartburn effect that other pizza places sauce can with some people. One more plus is that it's not a greasy pizza! The salads could be bigger though but other than that I would recommend Pizza Twist to anyone who wants to try something other than basic pizza and traditional flavors, although they can make that for you too if you just aren't ready to step outside the box.Dietary restrictions: Calorie counts are fairly low compared to most pizza places.”

“Had a 9th birthday celebration here! This was one of the best decisions, and I highly recommend having your next event hosted here! We had the pleasure of Kalani host our event, and let me tell you, she is in simple form AMAZING! Kalani interacted with the birthday kiddos and made sure they all were taken care of with food choices and drinks, which was REALLY nice. Gave us time to chat with the adult guests that accompanied their children. The timing was right on from guest arrival , taking our food order , gathering up the kiddos over the PA, accounting for everyone, food arriving hot, and enjoyable to all. Not only did the kiddos have an enjoyable time, as did the adults! Some of the items we ordered: Of course the Pepperoni pizza, you have to try the BBQ chicken wasn't dry, very tasty , veggie and cheese for those who aren't fans of Pepperoni or chicken. The Korean BBQ wings come with celery were pretty good as well. There is that salad bar that looked really fresh, crisp, and well tended to. When it was time for the cake, it was brought out everyone engaged in the Happy birthday song, which was really fun for all. I also noticed Kalani was also using ASL, which was super cool.. She then again right there cutting, serving and interacting.... The man of the house, Chuck E Cheese himself, visits each birthday table for individual greetings and pictures.. Wow, what a fun filled, happy, memorable day for everyone! I WOULD LIKE TO ALSO GIVE BIG THANK YOU AND GRADITUDE TO MR. W.C. who personally overseen this event to see it was just as it turned out to be! Super spectacular!Kid-friendliness: Where a kid can be a kid”

“Wonderful service and great-tasting food. The atmosphere is loud and obnoxious. I sometimes think the Fairfield location tries to reach or exceed its "Maximum Occupancy" limit. We were a party of six from Vacaville (a 20-minute drive one way) and dined in last night around 6 PM, on the 7th of April. Our food was brought out 37 minutes later, as indicated by the timer set on my phone. We ordered the usual appetizers/starters along with entrées.The booths typically accommodate five "full-sized and average" people. Last time we dined here at Texas Roadhouse, we were given a booth, and I didn't have enough elbow space to cut my food because we were literally shoulder-to-shoulder.I understand it's a steakhouse, not fine dining, but the noise level is akin to being in a dance club!Thank goodness the Fairfield location stopped giving out peanuts. People throwing peanuts on the ground like uncivilized behavior was an eyesore, and I empathize with the servers and staff having to clean up the heinous mess on the restaurant grounds!I insisted on a table, and phoning in to request one is another ordeal. Consistent busy signals and hearing the Verizon lady calmly informing me that the restaurant number is not reachable.Come and dine in for the complimentary bread rolls with sweetened cinnamon butter along with the delicious entrées. “From the moment we arrived, we were swept up in the excitement of this colorful and delicious destination. As we made our way through the factory, we were amazed by the sights and sounds of the production process. Rows of brightly colored machines whirred and hummed as they churned out endless streams of jellybeans in every shade and flavor imaginable. The air was filled with the sweet, sugary aroma of freshly made candy, and it was almost impossible to resist the temptation to taste a few samples. One of the highlights of the tour was learning about the history of Jelly Belly and its famous fans. We were thrilled to hear that President Reagan was a huge fan of these delicious treats, and we were even more impressed to see the incredible artwork made entirely out of jellybeans. From portraits of Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln to a stunning depiction of the Statue of Liberty, the talent and attention to detail on display was truly impressive. After the tour, we were treated to an unfinished jellybean, which was a fun and tasty way to end our visit. It was a truly fun and memorable experience, and one that we'll always treasure. If you're a fan of jelly beans or just looking for a fun and tasty way to spend an afternoon, the Jelly Belly Factory is definitely worth a visit.”

After walking thru to the far side of the bar, you can sit inside or head out to the vineyard and outdoor seating where they will serve you wine tasters as you finish the last. They had 4 they were tasting this day and I liked the Pinot Noir the best. Don't forget to enjoy the views from the vineyard while you are there. “I’ve been a loyal customer of Chipotle since its early days, appreciating their food and the brand’s commitment to quality. However, my experiences at the Fairfield location have left much to be desired. To put it bluntly, the service here is subpar, a statement I make after several disappointing encounters. On three separate occasions, I’ve placed online orders, only to discover upon returning home—8 miles away—that my order was incorrect. Specifically, my burrito’s fillings were not as requested. The nature of a burrito means you can’t verify the order until you take a bite, leading to frustrating surprises.Attempting to resolve these issues has been an ordeal in itself. Reaching out for customer service over the phone has proven nearly impossible, as getting through to a live representative is a challenge. On the rare occasion I did manage to speak with someone, this time with a representative in the Philippines, the interaction was far from satisfactory. I found their attitude disrespectful and, ultimately, my request for a refund was denied, leaving me with no choice but to discard the incorrect food. It’s disheartening to see such a decline in service quality, especially from a brand I’ve supported for years. I hope that sharing my experience will prompt Chipotle, particularly the Fairfield location, to reevaluate their customer service and order accuracy. Ensuring that customers receive what they’ve paid for and addressing any mistakes with respect and understanding should be fundamental practices for any food establishment.”
