Excellent brunch today for Mother's Day here at Zocalo. Great food especially the French toast and breakfast burrito. Josh was very pleasant as usual in greeting us. Waitstaff service was great as well. Top notch!!
It was busy and we hit them right after a massive surge of people but we were missing items from our meals. We ordered a guacamole for the table and it usually comes in a molecajete, today we received a fraction of guacamole on a small bread plate. I got a carnita plate that normally comes with rice, beans, curtida, and corn tortillas in a tortilla warmer. All I received was the carnitas and 3 semi warm corn tortillas wrapped in a cloth napkin. My carnitas were the best I have ever eaten, very flavorful and juicy! Although the restaurant was very busy, service was excellent and drinks/food were served promptly. On the other hand, prices are somewhat high and it is a very loud/noisy restaurant.
