“Love it we meet my daughter and grandson mostly on Friday after school. The malts shakes and banana splits couple scoops on a waffle cone and we're in heaven. Family owned and operated by really great people. I would recommend anybody that wants some sweet ice cream or a malt whatever go to The sweet spot in Ione IONE ”

“The Burke Family Restaurant is in the historic Ione Hotel. Very antique looking and very clean. The hand made bread and food was fantastic. I had a chicken pizza backed on handmade sourdough bread...tasted great. The prices are very low for the quality of the food and service. We've eaten there many times and we'll be back.”

“Had lunch here yesterday. With the views out the windows of the beautiful California foothills, covered in green grass and poppies, it was a beautiful experience. We sat where we could see the lake and the fisherman coming and going. Missy was our server and she kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed from the beginning. Missy is an excellent server and made us feel special. I ordered the lunker which is a 1/3 pound burger and I added mushrooms and blue cheese. Yum! Had a salad with mine, but the hubby The tater tots, which is one of their specialties with his patty melt, the tater tots are cooked to perfection, made us feel like kids again! Great experience, as usual!”

“Great food, so if you're ever in Ione go by and eat the great tasting food. If you order nachos get the salsa and cheese sauce on the side if you don't eat it right away because it makes the chips very soggy.Parking: The truck is at the Shell gas station and there is limited parking, but it is worth it.”

“The food was great. It has been difficult finding a good Mexican restaurant in the western Amador area. Who would have thought Ione would be the place. The staff were great. Very friendly, quick to attend the table throughout the visit. Our ONLY complaint was the "house" margarita was very sugary and tasted like just mix. We plan on trying a higher quality "top shelf" style version next time to see if there's a difference.”

“My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary at Louie Olivers last night. We'd never been there and wanted to enjoy a 'new to us' restaurant. Your service was fantastic, food was delicious and ambience was wonderful. I had the prime rib; my wife had the rib eye. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. We started with a 'sharable' candied walnut shrimp..... shockingly good! Everyone should try this! Desert was the New York Cheesecake! Possibly the best cheesecake I've EVER HAD! Needless to say WE WILL BE BACK and advise others to try your restaurant!”

“The store is clean the employees are great the guy Collin really knows his stuff it’s not their fault the franchise suck’s definitely a place to stop if your hungry amazing customer service shoutout to the informative manager Collin! I can deal with the bathroom being out of order since they explained some j*** broke the lock. “High end eating in a small town of wine country. Would happily return if in the area. Full cocktail menu. Many local wines. Friendly staff. I got the pork chop which I normally wouldn't get out, but it was so delicious. Great mustard seasoning with baked apples on top with a plate of spaetzle. Great after a day of wine tasting to refuel.”

Service is attentive and knowledgeable. The historic building has been lovingly upgraded while maintaining the romantic atmosphere. Most recent dishes enjoyed were a Dungeness crab cocktail with perfectly fresh crab, "Mary's Chicken" with a strip of crispy skin and chicken that literally melted in your mouth, the tastiest spinach we've ever had, and a Creme Brûlée Cheesecake with blueberries. If there is someone you really want to impress, this is the place to go.”

“Got into town wanting to find a place to eat in the small town of Plymouth. Decided to try Tin Roof Wine Cafe as they also have a few menu items to choose from. This particular evening we ordered drinks and for dinner we had a barbecued chicken pizza and poblano green chili enchiladas with a side of rice. Both meals were exceptional, very delicious and just the right amount of food. The owner gave us a recommendation to a local winery along with a free tasting coupon...this too was exceptional! If you're ever in Plymouth, CA definitely plan to visit Tin Roof Wine Cafe you won't be disappointed.”

“Pho has become our favorite "dine out" dish. We look for it on the road and routinely have it at ABC in Folsom, Thai Kitchen in Lodi, and Coriander in Midtown if we're there. To find a good pho option so close will save us time and gas. Leslie had the vegetarian in beef broth, and I had beef ball/rare steak. My toughest decision was large or small. Went with the small, which with extra noodles from Leslie's bowl was big enough. Deep, complex and perfect. Wish the beef choices had some vegetables in them but, based on everywhere, that's not traditional pho. Hope they add a wonton/noodle.”

My friend and I lovedddd our bloody Mary's (Motherload). Good ratios and the bacon was cooking perfectly and it has a sweetness to it. We were all very happy with our burgers/sandwiches as well. Great flavor, cooked with a little pink like we asked. My friend has the Amador burger which she said was not overly spicy. The waitress gave her a heads up that the jalapeños they use are pretty spicy so she got them on the side and she was right! So my friend was able to add the jalapeños to her burger to taste. At our table we ordered regular fries, sweet potato fries, and garlic parm and they were all awesome! Cooked perfectly with a little crisp but not too much. Would definitely come back here!”
