“What a clean, friendly, cute place in downtown Jamestown! My eggplant sandwich with grilled red peppers, yellow squash, grilled eggplant, pesto, mozzarella & tomato on grilled sourdough was so delicious & packed with veggies & gooey cheese. The French fries were really good, piping hot & super crispy. My hubby had the Divorced Huevos Rancheros whic we're covered in two different sauces, red & white and he cleaned his plate. Our server was attentive, friendly & right on with her recommendations and we will definitely return if we're in the area again.”

“I love the variety in the menu. The food was great, just a tad bit salty on the Beer Cheese Philly. The staff is always very nice and attentive. The overall environment I love because I can hear the casino machines going . Since the casino is non smoking, there is no issue with it smelling like smoke inside. We ordered the crispy calamari, Beer Cheese Philly, and the Ceasar salad. I will keeping here for sure.”

“Like stepping back in time to the days of the gold rush. The service station ended up being a terrific choice for us to eat this evening. All of us got something different and all of us walked away very happy with our selection. The service station has that kind of "saloon" feel to it when you come in the door. And I mean that in a good way. Nicely refurbished to reflect a lot of the old style. There's a bar when you first come in and plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. The menu item of choice for me tonight was the "fish and chips". It's beer, battered Alaskan Pollock fish. It comes with homemade coleslaw and a choice of sides and I chose a salad. A very nice portion size of fish that was flaky and not at all fishy tasting. The homemade coleslaw was terrific, wish there was more in the cup. The salad consisted of lettuce and cherry tomatoes. I went with the blue cheese. Super friendly waitress with lots of good suggestions and very welcoming to us.”

“First of all don't spread this around much and spoil a good thing. This is a delightful little hole in the wall place out in the rolling oak filled hills. Run by Mama Pegg. Basically a sandwich spot with fresh baked bread and pastries. Everything is fresh and homemade. Sit out back and enjoy the scenery and the beautiful Peacock.”

“Extended. We stayed in this hotel. We were spending a few days in San Francisco, visiting a relative, and along the way we made the occasional getaway to see picturesque places. In this case, within the scheduled excursion they had reserved a room at this hotel-restaurant. It looked like a Farwest hotel, I took a lot of photos, both the reception, room, common areas, etc. Reviewing them seems long to me. It was an experience that even after many years you remember the place. In this hotel where we spent the night, had dinner and had breakfast. “I moved to Sonora in July 2023 and quickly found Mandy's for breakfast. After making the rounds at a few places in Sonora. Jamestown and Twain Harte I settled on Mandy's as my go to. Here is why: the food is great and consistently so, the menu has variety and its vast, they serve dinner from Thursday through Sunday, the prices are reasonable enough that I can afford to go any day of the week for a good meal or two, but the best reason and the one that keeps me coming back is the whole group of people there. Clearly everyone enjoys and takes pride in Customer service. Mandy must be the cause. She quickly learns your name if you become a regular. Her service skills are above par as are those of EVERY person on staff. I feel like I'm eating with family at every meal. Today was my birthday and I was there for breakfast, get the pork belly Benedict. It's awesome. Like everything on the breakfast and lunch menu. Then I went back for dinner, try the red enchiladas, I got 2 chicken and 1 cheese. Added a glass of sangria. Yes the have a beer and wine license. Then I asked for what was on the dessert menu. When Morgan got to the fried plantains, I said stop I'll take those. But I asked for just a bit of ice cream. Mandy happened to be there and made a command decision that if I wasn't going to get much ice cream, I should have more plantains. Good call Mandy! Like I said on the way out it was more than I should have eaten. But I savored every bite! It was that good. Now a couple hours later I'm still full. There is a long list of locals and regulars who are quickly greeted by name when they walk in. I'm glad to be one of those. For a lot of reasons today was the best birthday of my life. Thank you Mandy and team for giving me a place to hang out part of the day. I simply love this classic diner that is just a couple miles from home and on the edge of Columbia State Historic Park. I'm glad I found a place where I could fit in.”

“We love their pizza. We had some hiccups a couple yrs ago when new owners took over but seems to be back on track now. This place is a "no brainer" if if you are looking for yummy custom pizza. Pickle pizza is a fav. The prosciutto pesto another fav.”

“Brittany is the bombdiggity. $13.00 for a Big Mac meal at Mickey D's! No thanks! Only $15.95 for the biggest burger you've had in forever. The patty is REAL meat and at least 1/2 pd. Yes it comes with seasoned fries for that price. Great fast and smiling service. Brittany is so sweet to me I can't stand it. The Cowboy burger is humongous & highly recommended. Go, go, go get it!”

“Had their pepperoni pizza, BOMB and their jalapeño popper pizza. Sooooo good!!! Definitely worth the stop. The inside is very busy with lots of kids everywhere. Very family friendly place with arcade games etc. They also give you ranches with the pizza which is nice.”

“Never had the chance to try any food options, however, this is the cleanest and most modern luxury lounge in the county. Miner's Lounge specializes in Craft Special Drinks and has a nice selection of draft and bottled beer. All rustic wood and brick walls with high end leather furniture and wall to wall Screens for multiple sporting events, a luxury in wall electric fire place and bar sports like shuffle puck and corn hole in their banquet room gives lots of options for a nice date or hanging with friends. Got to see it!Parking: Downtown Angel's Camp Parking can be challenging depending on current events.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible from the back alley.”

“My husband stopped off on his way home yesterday. Right off Hwy. 49 next to the Columbia P.O. this little low key market is the best kept secret in all of Tuolumne County. Maybe even Calavares. We got a Gyro and a Philly Cheesesteak. They were Both absolutely delicious and flavorful. Plus, we got the small plenty filling sandwiches for $10.99!! An excellent price. The people who work there were very polite and cordial. There were lots of choices for beverages. We will be regulars for sure now that we know about them. They also make hamburgers. Check them out.”

“I have really long time not comeback here ,the experience of first time in goodness cafe. That was amazing the chicken breast is perfect in the world bread is hot and crispy and chicken breast was so tender and juicy , but this time is dry and bread cold even though the sauce is still good and they reheat for me the service is really nice the place is quite and peaceful still recommend”

“What an amazing cup of coffee and bagel! My girlfriend had a lemon poppy pastry that was also amazing. Place is small but very nice, and the staff were great. A lot of pride seen in this establishment. Definitely the coffee stop for your morning exploration of Angels Camp!”

“This was our first time at this restaurant last Saturday. The food was very good and the service was excellent. All the waitresses very friendly. The portions work quite big looking around on the walls all the Italian and Sicilian pictures and things like that. I would definitely recommend this anybody going up to Sonora. be sure to get a box to go.”

“Great service! We showed up from out of town with a large family of about 25 of us. They worked diligently to get an area ready for all of us. They were so kind, so warm and welcoming to us. They were so genuine and it touched our family's hearts. It's not everyday that we receive that type of service. They were so kind about separating all the tabs we had too.
