We had a great experience at Ristorante Allegria! Service was excellent and food was fantastic! Only wish I could've ate more because they give generous portions! Would love to dine again!
We dined here at the recommendation of our hotel staff, ordering the mushroom ravioli and tagliatelle alla bolognese. The cream sauce for the ravioli was good. However, we didn't taste much mushroom in the ravioli; it was pretty much cheese ravioli and tasted fine. The tagliatelle was more undercooked than al dente. At another table, we observed someone adding salt to their fried calamari—who knows if that diner likes things extremely salty or if the dish really lacked flavor? As for us, we will probably dine elsewhere in the future given the quality and price point of the entrees here.

The food and service was on point. I was in Napa for a few days and still managed to make my way back to this restaurant before my final departure. The lobster ravioli lunch special? Amazing. As equally amazing is the Pappardelle allo zafferano. Give them a try...itll be worth it

As has been consistent for the last three times we've taken guests there, the food and service were excellent. Several of our party had the amazing saffon pappardelle with prawns and mushrooms. Everyone at the table tried it and it got rave reviews. The special was uber fresh Mahi-mahi with polenta and asparagus. Equally great reviews on that meal as well. My rigatoni and sausage was also delicious. For those of you who haven't been here, the pre-meal special olive oil and red onion sauce with fresh bread is one of my favorite things about the place. Also a shout out to Lexie who was our server. She was very attentive, but not hovering and gave us excellent service for our birthday celebration! We'll be back soon!

Good food. The bread is super delicious. Other things we ordered are just within expectations. Not bad but not outstanding either. Worth trying if you visit Napa downtown!

What a disappointment. Trading on reputation is fully apt in this situation. Our food arrived less than 10 minutes after ordered and was clearly not made to order, but was pre-made and assembly line produced. The saffron pasta with shrimp was almost tasteless; the side of polenta with meat sauce was too sweet though the polenta itself was ok, but understated. The saving grace, if there is one, were the cocktails which were very good as was the friendly service. With so many amazing restaurants in the area it is a shame to waste time or money on a place that lacks.

The food (we both got pasta) was fine. However, we ordered an appetizer and never got it. The dinner came out quickly. We asked for a recommendation on wine and she gave us one but then she brought a different one and opened it. She poured it before I saw the bottle she brought. (My date did the tasting)
