I'm only rating the service as high as I am because our server was very sweet. But the manager/host needs to reconsider hospitality as a career. We frequent Boon Fly for brunch and will probably return at some point, but the experience we had for dinner really soured us. When we checked in for our reservation, the manager/host took us to a table right by the door. I asked if we could be seated at a different two top. He said it was reserved and they were fully booked. I inquired about whether that specific table had been reserved (most restaurants don't allow that). He said no but it was "booked before we booked." Despite me being visibly unhappy, he made no attempt to accommodate us. When the other reservation failed to show at all (after about 15 minutes where I had to put my coat on because of the draft), our server sweetly asked us if we'd like to be reseated. By the way, their "fully booked" evening was dotted with empty tables during our entire meal. And the meal was meh. Biscuits were not fluffy and quite dense and chewy. The artichoke dip was good but the pita chips it came with was more like stale pita bread. And the mains were bland. Brunch is so delicious there, but you can't book reservations there for brunch. And there is clearly a reason dinner reservations are often available on Open Table. Do yourself a favor and wait for brunch but skip it for dinner.
Unfortunately, the three items my wife and I ordered just lacked of flavor. First it was the Caesar salad and we were like okay it's a one off. But when the main dish came over (gumbo sand halibut) both items lacked flavor and the fish was dry. Also I got a biscuit, but it also was a big disappointment. Dry and not buttery and lack of flavor. It's a shame since I have been here multiple times, but when 3 out of 3 dishes were off, something is wrong and not worth the money or the potential to come back here again.
Salmon flat bread is good but too salty, even without capers. Halibut, burger and truffle fries were great. Service was also great. Wished Boonfly accepted reservations for brunch.

We have driven past this place off of hwy 37 many times. Today, we stopped to eat. Well worth it. We ordered the Gumbo, bicuits and an order of Brussel Sprouts. First of all the honey / cinnamon butter for the biscuits is very addicting. They make it there. The place is tucked away and very quiet outside, even with the close proximity to the busy highway. Inside is clean and felt very open. The staff was friendly. The food came out pretty quick piping hot. If you have watched those guys on YouTube who do food reviews... the ones who get so animated over the delicious food. That was like us today. What is a Boon Fly?

I don't really feel comfortable giving any stars however, I just felt really disappointed. I only picked this place to go for breakfast because well it's on social media they have really great breakfast. However, I decided to bring my women's group here. I won't mention any names, however my server Was nice the food was OK. The corn beef hash is really good. I was told by one of my guest the waffles were good not the chicken I would have to say if I did go back I probably would just order the donuts. However, the disappointment came when the manager on duty I had asked him if he could come over to my table very politely, (I just need some napkins) but he responded in a rude way. I guess some managers think that they're above to give napkins or anything else to customers.

My to-go brunch place on every trip to Napa. This was my third time here. The servers were super friendly. We came in at Monday 1:30 pm and waited outside for 30 min. Except for that everything was good. Recommend the green egg and ham and the California Bagel- we ordered them every single time. Banana bread was on the sweeter side.

As usual, everything at Boon Fly created a wonderful dining experience. Our server was upbeat, friendly and accommodating to our questions and needs. Delicious fried chicken and halibut entrees were perfectly prepared and plentiful. We were enjoying ourselves so much that 2 hours went by in a flash! Our only issue was the lack of accessible parking adjacent to the front door. The host vowed changes to accommodate future diners with accessible needs and plans on alerting those with reservations to take note. Thank you!

I love this place! The food is always consistently great- simple favorites such as fried chicken, burgers, pizza, steak, but done in an elevated way. Only downside is the place is small so it can get crowded.
Don't skip out on the donuts! The eggs Benedict were the best we've had! Service wasn't good or bad, it took a while to have our order taken and another bit to get the servers attention when we needed refills. Ambiance was good it's not a terribly big place but it's also not so small that you can hear other peoples conversations or that it gets too loud. Definitely a place to come with family or friends.

Was here years ago for the fried chicken. Ordered it again and its still damn good! My partner chose the Halibut and loved it. Located in fenced in resort which reminds me of the Walking Dead series.

Amazing! Food arrived fast and very warm. It tasted and looked amazing! The fries were especially delicious. Service was great! Staff were very nice and friendly! The building looked like a barn on the outside, but very cozy on the inside! Perfect lighting, seating, and coloring. We had a great experience.
