I usually like Brix, but this experience wasn't up to par. They kept us waiting a long time for our table. When they took us to our table, it was literally outside (where it was cold and windy), not in the tent, which is what I had reserved. We said we would wait for another table. After another wait, they seated us inside, right in front of a door. Every time it opened, we were hit by a big blast of cold air, which knocked our menus off the table. We again asked for another table, which they accommodated a few minutes later. Surprisingly, given the conditions at the first indoor table, they then seated another party of four at the table (the windy one). We watched the four guests first put their jackets back on and, 10 minutes later, give up and move to another table. After our experience, there really was no way they should have tried to seat another party at the table.

This was an overall sad night. Bad first table that was so small it should only be used for two. Plant was literally in one of our parties hair. Moved next to door to go outside on cold night. Our waiter rarely found us after we moved. Food was average at best. Desert was fabulous. Outside area was beautiful. I won't be back except for a drink out back.

I often go to Brix to host clients. The food could be better, but I love the outdoor seating area. The hostess didn't want to seat us because we were about 15 minutes early. After lunch, we moved over to the bar area to have some dessert, and the bartender was rude. I was very disappointed with the service and quality of the food—no reason to ever return to Brix.

Great menu options, but understaffed; hope they can bump their service up many notches; scallops were served burnt. I hope they can turn around, it's such a nice spot and lovely menu, but when there is low staff count, mistakes will happen, and did.

This place was a big disappointment. The service was poor and slow. The food was not flavorful. However, the view was pleasant, so it somewhat made up for the poor experience. I had requested outside setting, but we were sat in full sun next to the plastic Saran Wrap window. We had 3 tables near us in shade. I had asked our waitress if we can move to another table or have shade pulled near me. She said, "no." I was overheating!!! Worse we waited 10-15 minutes for water for our table. I had to eat our meal fast, to end the meal and get our check due to the sun exposure. Meanwhile a new couple was sat near us and they asked to move to another table and they accommodated them immediately. This is unacceptable! I cannot recommend this service nor the food. The only thing this place has going for them is the outside garden and view.

We have been here before and experienced better ambience and food. The host was less than friendly upon our arrival. It wasn't busy but he still wouldn't flex to allow us to change to outside seating. Outside tables remained open throughout our visit. The food was “ok,” it's definitely been better on prior visits. Our server was gracious. We were looking forward to introducing our friends to Brix but it fell short.

Host was not attentive, no one was attentive,drinks were okay, starter was served with the salad and soup, soup and specialty salad good, side salad served in too small a bowl to eat without spread lettuce over the table, no dressing! Entrees uninspiring. Had to constantly look for waiter or someone for water or next course. Deserts good. Would not recommend restaurant , prices would not offend if food and service were better.

Receptionist was not very nice and accommodating. Made reservations for 5:00pm. Two of us got there 4:55 and she said all four of you should be here before I can sit you! In the meantime, people were arriving and reception getting crowded. No good!

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You came highly recommended and everything was as perfect as it could be! Yummy food, great service and everyone was very pleasant. Live music was great.

Food came inconsistently, meat undercooked, waitress spilled the espresso martinis despite her serious efforts to hand deliver - it was misty but no support when we wanted to see the patio / garden

This will definitely be the last time I will dine with Brix. I booked the reservation to enjoy brunch on a nice Spring Sunday to arrive and find out that they have discontinued breakfast and brunch all together. I was bummed but still excited to eat some delicious food. Unfortunately, our waiter was waiting on too many tables and the kitchen was extremely slow. It took us 50min just to receive our appetizers. The food took even longer. I had to send my Bloody Mary back because it tasted like shrimp cocktail juice, (no celery and no olives included, btw). I ordered steak frites and the steak was so tough, I could barely cut it, and had to chew for a long time to break it down. The best thing I had was coke out of a can and French fries. I've dined here many times in the past. I don't know what's happened. But everything has went down. Service, food and cocktails. Never again.

The lady at the door was snotty and unwelcoming. Bad start. Hello this is Napa, loosen up and be nicer The staff was great. Server Imbica and Jose Yancor were terrific. Awesome service Not gonna be back here for a while

We ordered the cauliflower and an asparagus salad to share. We were given a butter knife to cut the veggies with but they weren't cooked quite enough and it was difficult to split / share. The veggies needed more seasoning - just overall bland. We also ordered the crab fondue. It was a small ramekin. Didn't feel this was with it for the price. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Very nice layout and pretty ambiance.

Don't order the Cioppino that was $41, said it had crab as well as in a crab stew, well there was no stew and no crab! There was fish, clams and shrimp, but no stew or broth. Highlights was the nice live music that was playing.

Brix used to be our favorite restaurant. We always did lunch outside and the Halibut was great. It was a beautiful sunny day but we were seated in a plastic cubical outside. We then asked to be seated inside just for some air. Next. No Halibut. The tempura green beans were great. Ordered chicken salad. HoHum. Wife ordered risotto. Came in a crockery pot. No garnishes. Arrived at 1pm didn't get out till 2:30. One waitress. She was overwhelmed.
