Coles Chop House was OK! The food and the experience wasn't worth the price.

Service was IMPECCABLE! I have been to Cole’s several times but last Saturday was ultra special. I had friends from out of town to celebrate a birthday. The attention to detail was fabulous. They had a hand written birthday card at the table. Our server Monica was AMAZING! She deserves 10 stars! The manager and Maître D were so professional and extra kind. The bus boy was so gracious. I have been living here for 4 years after 20 years in NYC and other major international cities and know what great customer service is. I congratulate Cole’s and their wonderful team.

This place would not have got so stringent a review if it wasn't for the hype and the price. The bill was close to 800 out the door for four, and all of their steaks and seafood were of low quality, previously frozen and tasted as if it was meat purchased close to the sell-by date at Lucky. Really, this quality of meat and fish is to be expected at Applebees for 25 bucks, not for the steep, steep prices here. The shrimps were completely bland, frozen, too much sauce. You want to spend 200 dollars for a cheap, poorly cooked steak and some corn drowning in butter? This is the place for you. This is a tourist trap like most places downtown. I'm sure this place used to be good, but for the price of a playstation 5 and 5 games, to get a steak that tasted like it was worth 5 bucks, and cooked like it was worth less than that, that's very, very bad, what a huge let down and ripoff. Cole's is 100 percent hype, you can easily cook yourself 10 better steaks for the price of one steak here, even Trancas Steakhouse has fresher cuts, and I don't consider them to be top of the line either... What a huge let down but not a huge surprise. This place has got my bad word of mouth now, what a rip ?. Whoever is sourcing their ingredients needs to take their game up TEN NOTCHES. Lazy sourcing makes for bad food, what is this, elementary.?- An honest local.

Atmosphere and service were incredible! The steaks, apps, and cocktails were perfection. The only slight down side was that the side were a bit bland. Definitely will go back!

Really enjoyed our trip to Coles. My pork chop was recommended as medium by my server which waa fine however some bits particularly near the bone were more rare/raw. It waa juicy and tender though, but I "kept the faith: eating it. The downside was the sides were only warm and soon went cold. But the server waa busy so difficult to engage The water guy was excellent tho. My wife had the fillet she was pleased with hers.

It just doesn’t get better than Cole’s Chop House. Most importantly, the dry aged NY strip was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and like butter. The Potato Au Gratin and Brussels Sprouts were excellent. The Wife’s Surf and Turf was excellent, the filet perfect and the lobster done perfectly without being overcooked (that happens so many places). The service was impeccable and the wine service and selection was superb. We will return!! Be aware that it can get a bit loud in the dining room during a busy night, but that’s part of the charming atmosphere.

This place is an amazing find. Located next to the river we went there for something a bit more straight forward. The hosting team are super nice and friendly making us feel welcome from the get go.The food - yum. Enough said. Went for a sharing steak which was really well cooked and for desert went for the amaretto crème brûlée. I have eaten enough of these in my time on this earth to know what is a good crème brûlée - this was exceptional. If you would like a good recommendation for a wine pairing too - try “Routestock” a well balanced Cabernet Sauvignon, great with meats. If you’re visiting Napa and looking for a nice and relaxed place to go get yourselves down here - every course is a delight!Great work Cole’s team!

We were a group of five and there to celebrate a 60th anniversary. We were seated outside in early May and it was quiet and very pleasant. Our table never requested a heater, but others did and had it been cold I'm confident the staff would have assured our comfort (they also offered blankets). We each ordered a beef entree, split salads and three sides for the table and one dessert. The portions were generous and we brought food home. Our steaks were worth every penny!! The service was excellent. We had one wrong order go in, but the team offered alternatives and did not charge for that wrong order. We were very, very happy we chose Coles for this celebration!

Phenomenal food, great wine selection and well-appointed bar. Oysters Rockefeller is a must. Just a great steak house with a wide selection to satisfy many tastes. If you are in Napa it is a MUST

Great food, great service, great management, great environment. They do everything right. That's why we always come back when visiting Napa. They also have choices of indoor/outdoor dining that are both comfortable and elegant.

Had to wait 45 minutes, though we'd made reservations months in advance. It took about 35 minutes to get our first drinks after we were seated. An hour and a half after being seated, we finally got our salad. To say service was slow and inadequate is an understatement. Food was pretty good... or maybe we were just so hungry that it seemed to be good. With all the great restaurants in Napa, we won't be returning to this one!
