I don't normally post much in the way of a negative review, but unfortunately our experience at Mustards was very lackluster. Once we were seated, our waiter, Brandon, opened the wine we brought, took our order and pretty much never appeared again at our table. We poured our own water and wine through the entire dinner. When the salads were served, Brandon never came by to check whether we wanted some ground pepper, or just to see if we needed anything. Never came during our meal to check on us or see if we needed more water or anything. When we ordered dessert, Brandon ran off before we could ask for coffee. For a restaurant of this caliber and cost, just a bit of service would have been nice.

Waiter was not good. Was exasperated when my wife asked about specials. Our meal dishes were not cleared and had to ask another waiter for another a glass of wine. The food was great as always but no one likes a waiter who thinks he's doing you a favor by acknowledging you.

I first dined at Mustard's Grill not long after it opened in the mid-1980s and frankly don't remember the meal living up to the hype. My second visit changed that. From start to finish and in every respect, our lunch was exceptional. My husband and I both enjoyed the fresh fish of the day which was grilled wild salmon and it was absolutely one of the best preparations I've ever had. Grilled to perfection with corn, mushroom and potato in a light butter sauce. For dessert, New York-style cheese cake with fresh blueberry sauce and a dollop of whipped cream. Pure heaven. We can't wait to return.

I've made it a tradition to come to Mustard's every year, the day before my birthday, to enjoy a delicious Bloody Mary. It's one of the best I've EVER had. This year was no exception and didn't disappoint. I get one to-go for the next morning. The thin cut onion rings are a nice accompaniment. My heartfelt THANKS for the birthday ice cream scoop with a candle on top. I appreciate the excellent service from all the staff. Thanks!!!

The food was good. Mustard's is always a nice place to dine when in the area. The ribs were good. They have really good fries. The Lemon and Lime tart is a favorite and large enough to share.

Mustards was amazing! The wings and pork chop are the best you will ever have. The salmon special was incredible. Lemon tart- delicious. Amazing service. Everything was perfect. Highly reccomend!

A great experience with “bad for us” food. Fried calamari, bbq ribs, corn bread, coleslaw and a side of onion curls - all fantastic. Had the cab wine flight. Worst part was we had no room for desert.

Spectacular as always! We can't get enough of the outstanding food and go as much as possible. There is a reason they have been around over 40 years! Service from the hostess, manager, busser, and server were superb. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Mustards is a Napa staple. Their menu has something for everyone and prices won't break the bank. After a wonderful day of wine tasting we finished our evening with dinner at Mustards. The dining room seems packed and can be loud but service is always excellent. For my dinner I ordered the Famous Mongolian Pork Chop but substituted fries and coleslaw to go along with the chop. Food was good and chop was plentiful but perhaps a little dry. Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy what they ordered so the evening was a success. We will make it a point to visit again and explore something else on the menu. Perhaps our next visit will include a fifth star.

Mustards never disappoints! As everyone knows, the Mongolian Pork Chop is the absolute best thing on the menu. We spent a month in the valley this year and we ate here four times with various friends and family. We had most everything on the menu up to now and have to say, it's all as good as their flagship Pork Chop!!! Thanks to Cindy and the staff for the excellent service, and especially the epic food during our stay. See you all again very soon!! John & Pam Attayek

For a Wednesday at lunchtime, the restaurant was full. Making a reservation was easy. We were greeted at the door by the very friendly hostesses and taken to our table, quite quickly. Our server was excellent; he was a longtime server at the restaurant, I believe he said 16 years! He knew the all the specials and kindly reviewed them with us and asked if we had any questions. He apologized for the onion rings taking so long to be served but he said that they were not plated correctly and wouldn't serve them until they were correctly plated. We do not even notice the lag in time since we were busy chatting. The onion rings were hot, and delicious. We also ordered the Ahi Tuna Crackers - also delicious, and we ordered the grill calamari - very good, though we asked if they could bring us a little sauce for it and they did, which complimented the calamari. Finally, we ordered the chicken wings - they had no breading on them, which we appreciated. The skins were crunch while the chicken meat was very tender, plus they were hot in temperature. There were 3 of us in total and we shared the 4 appetizers. One had a Manhattan, and the other 2 ordered the Bloody Mary with beer chaser. It was a perfect lunch with great service. The only other thing that we could point out to others is that the restaurant is very noisy but after a while, you get used to it and perhaps you can be more forgiving at lunch time.

Mustard's never fails to deliver. This iconic spot in the Napa Valley offers good food, great service (friendly yet efficient), a fabulous wine list, great ambiance. It's not glitzy or pretentious, but a great place to share with good friends. I've been coming for 20+ years, and it's always a treat.

I'm here often, both for myself and to book for guests. Mustard's never, ever fails to be great. Never had a bad word or had a bad experience in the 8 years I've been going there. The staff call me by name which gives a great impression to my guests. I'm often on a time schedule so they expedite with ease when I ask. Love Mustards!!

Great food and service as always. The night we were there it was very loud to the point it was hard to hear my table companion. (There were just two of us.). Part of it may have been the large party seated next to us. It detracted from the otherwise enjoyable experience.

We were a little disappointed. Our appetizer the Corn tamale was good. My strawberry lemon drop martini was good. The ribs were tough and dry but tasty. The pork chop was pretty rare. We split our meals and they took my piece back and cooked it a little more. To my horror my husband ate his. He said it was rare but it was good. The onion straws were the best part of my meal.
