DISCRIMINATION ALERT - My mom and I were visiting town and happened to visit this place as it was recommended to us by the concierge at Meritage Hotel ( Vino Bello ) my mom and aunt don’t speak english and it was hard to navigate with them to places some of the staff indeed speak Spanish, we were asked if we had a reservation but we did not have one, the place was not packed but they insisted to get inside we have to wait a hour and 15 minutes so they say they could accommodate us outside of the restaurant when there was plenty of empty tables inside and lots of staff just standing there without any assignments. We waited outside but the sun was too harsh so we insisted if there was a table inside they said there’s no table available. So one of the staff said: yes we do have a table for you, come come THIS WAY waving her hands at us in a very derogatory and humiliating way like if we were part of the staff or dogs, she walked us through the hallway by the kitchen we were confused as where exactly she was bringing us despite being there plenty of tables open and unoccupied that they could place us. They brought us upstairs excluded from everyone like if we must be put away from everyone to a table that looked like the staff fold their napkins and do meetings, we immediately stand up and left with a very sour experience and surprise as how classist this restaurant was, more of a humiliation we felt discriminated they made very clear we didn’t belong there.

Needed to pick a bit to eat last minute and managed to grab a seat at the bar. It was perfect - James was my bartender - made me perfect drink and gave me great recommendations for dinner. 6 lovely local oysters, pork chop milanese with spring vegetables, and the tiramisu I left a happy and full! Highly recommend!

Excellent food. The fried calameres are perfect and the lasagna with bolognese exquisite. We went with a reservation and despite that we had a delay of more than half an hour.

Wonderful Italian with food executed beautifully, authentic & elevated. Bacala fritters were wonderful. Ravioli was beautiful & plentiful. Pounded pork chop Milanese was perfection. Only miss was side of caccio e pepe that missed the creaminess it deserved. Good wine list of course. We will be back.
