My wife and I visited Stags Leap Winery today for a wine tasting experience as part of our anniversary celebrations. We were warmly greeted by our server Maurice who was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the wines.Maurice took the time to explain the background of each wine and provide pairing suggestions for our tasting flight. He has a great passion for the wines produced at Stags Leap that really shone through. The tasting room itself was beautifully designed and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the award-winning Cabernet Sauvignons.The wines did not disappoint - they were complex, balanced and showed the terroir beautifully. Maurice also recommended the perfect wines to take home based on our preferences.It was one of the most memorable wine tasting experiences we have had. Maurice made our anniversary very special and we will definitely be back to explore more of Stags Leap Winery's offerings. I would highly recommend visiting for the exceptional service and world-class wines. It's clear why Stags Leap Winery is regarded as one of Napa's top wineries.

First of all, be aware that the OTHER Stags Leap (Stags Leap Wine Cellars) was the one that won the famous “Judgement in Paris” wine competition. The tour was hosted by a young woman who obviously had a completely pre-prepared spiel that was mostly about the house and the lawsuit with the other winery. She didn’t talk much about the wine and told us nothing (literally) about how it was made. It was the least interesting wine and the least interesting of the three tours we did that day. I would have given it a higher rating if it hadn’t cost $90 pp.

This was our final tasting in Napa and it did not disappoint. Aside from a stunning drive in, I had no idea I was getting a property tour which is a must do. Maddie walked us through the complex history of the property and the owners. We got to see the speakeasy and had a seated tasting. The wine are all smooth and delicious. We had a small cheese plate so we could try different wine and cheese pairings together.

Beautiful winery and worth the price of admission. Our wine guide was Scott, who was very friendly and helpful. He turns us on to some great Cabernets, which we purchased the "Artemus". Very upscale, but a warm and inviting tasting area.
