“Got the sandwich with chicken and basil cream on sourdough bread, and the red potato salad. Food was good all around; the bread had a great texture. I'm usually not huge on potato salad but the one here was great. Small place but a cute deli atmosphere, a good selection of chips and drinks. I'd recommend.“

“If you like good Italian food, this is the place to go. The food is homemade, with love. You can literally taste the love in their food. I have only done Togo orders. I ordered their meatball sandwich, AMAZINGLY YUMMY! I also have had the anti pasta salad, olives, salami, mozzarella with a balsamic dressing, really good. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. They get pretty busy, so plan accordingly. Whenever I'm in Novato this is where I order from. Make sure you have napkins/utensils before you leave, they don't put them in your Togo order for you.“

“Great overall experience.I used to go here all the time years ago. I just went again today and was not disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and there is a great selection of sandwiches and drinks. Even my daughter, who's diet consists of Saltine crackers and Ice cream sandwiches loved the sandwich. I would definitely recommend and will be returning!“

“Nice little shop with a variety of staples and hot foods. Lady working there was very nice. Antique style gas pumps out front. Large parking area across the street that worked surprisingly well for camping in RV over night. Evacuation drill signs posted near by.“

“Great food for sure. Unfortunately, the prices for some things are too high to make it a regular spot for me. So far, I've had the breakfast sandwich and the flourless torte, which were both flawless and delicious. Every time I've been, it's been crowded and very dog-friendly at the outdoor seating.“

“We read Houston’s article in the Argus about Urban Deli and had to try it. It was everything he proclaimed. I tried the Mediterranean Platter and everything was delicious - the falafel were uniquely spiced and not too salty which mixes often are. My husband tried the chicken schwarma platter and the walnut baklava and enjoyed them both. The customer service was excellent. So excited to have this new deli downtown.“

“The BEST sandwiches in town. I, personally, think they are a much better quality than when it was Mr. Pickles. Much friendlier staff and owner. I rate this 10 stars. Love the vegetarian sando on Dutch crunch with Swiss and Baja sauce. Chicken salad sando excellent too. All good! Fresh“

“I've been getting sandwiches here when in the area for years. Yesterday I had a bad experience with my sandwich, and I could not eat it. When I called and talked to Dante about it, he accepted responsibility and made the situation right. This experience, although handled appropriately, still cost them 1 star. I would highly recommend their deli sandwiches, and will be back again for for years to come I'm sure. Always very fresh ingredients at a fair price.“

“It's my first time here and I already know I'll come back again! I tried the pecan salad which is the best pecan salad I have ever had! It has generous amount of candy pecans and fresh salad. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture! There are lots of sandwich selections. Everything is served in Togo box which I thought is convenient for any leftovers to go! It's in a residential neighborhood with a bar inside. Draft beer is refreshing. You can sit in the bar or plenty of outdoor seatings. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is interesting. Definitely give it a try if you love beer and sandwiches! Oh and salad!!!“

“We dropped by for their sandwiches. The dutch crunch bread with chicken salad with the works was the perfect sandwich. The crunch was sweet and crumbly and the chicken salad was slightly smokey. So good! I could barely finish the half...but I did and now I'm stuffed. It's well worth stopping by. The service was quick and we were in and out in a matter of 5 minutes. There's seating right out front or next to the parking lot. Great place for grab a quick bite!“
