“This mac and cheese is perfect- PERFECT. When I'm not in the area, I cry. I got the cookbook for Christmas a couple of years ago and that can tide me over but of course, I'd rather it come from the OG. My absolute favorites are the pesto mac or pizza mac - both of which will rotate on and off the menu. A crunchy top is a necessity. I prefer the breadcrumbs but they have other options like hot Cheetos or chips too. Thank you for existing, Homeroom. ILY.“

“I’ve ordered Tonkutsu Ramen (mild), its good but too spicy for me. I asked for hot water to reduce d saltiness n spiciness. Flavor still great!“

“Our dining experience at Bangkok Garden last evening was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the staff. They promptly escorted us to our table, where our orders were taken and served with remarkable efficiency. Accompanied by our two young children, who were exceptionally well-catered to, we indulged in a variety of dishes. The grilled chicken satay and the fresh spring rolls were the stars of the evening. It's certain that we will be returning for another memorable meal. Bangkok Garden comes highly recommended!“

“The Bay Area seems to have nice places to have a good chicken sandwich. This is one of the nice places I've tried. The inside seemed a bit empty but lovely with the 'All you need is hot chicken'. Service was clunky but thorough. Waiting time was fine. I did notice that their fry selection is not too extensive. I went with waffle fries and the regular hot chicken sandwich, I believe medium was the spice level. I can recall there were layers of sweetness. The coleslaw was sweet to me, not sure if it was the pickles as well. The flavour was nice. The spice was potent but not extreme; very comfortable while I watched people pass by. Waffle fries were crispy and fresh. The sauce was more on the sweet side but a good layer of flavour. Water and utensils are self served by the doorway. Right in the middle of downtown Oakland. Easily accessible with public transport.“

“Delicious food and would recommend their waffles! Their smoothies/drinks are great but I had to take off a star because it was vett try hard to communicate with the barista who did not seem to know English very well, but she was still very kind.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and it is easy to aces with a small ramp“

“First timer, Tin & Pig is def serving up some authentic Korean food. The ambiance was great the meals are extremely hearty but also pretty pricy which is why I took a star away - not saying it's not worth it but it could be a tab then again what's not now a day's. I'm a huge fan of Kimchi Stew this one had pork in it, very rich & comforting on a rainy night served with a side of rice. Def enjoyed it. Got the sweet & spicy wings & the plain wing's I wanted the sauce on the side but it's $3 to have the sauce on the side which kinda confused me? Regardless packed with flavor and fried to perfection. The bulgogi w/rice & egg which is semi pictured could honestly be skipped on. It was good but it didn't stand out to me. Def wanna try hot pot going back. Over all the customer service was great, the gentleman who served us was very personable & he checked in but also gave enough space for us to have a conversation. Hopefully you guys enjoy this place & try it out :)“

“I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening with friends, all of whom have backgrounds in the food industry. We booked an early reservation at 5 p.m. and were immediately struck by the venue’s understated yet stylish décor, featuring rustic touches and a soft pink, floral theme. The menu was promising, showcasing a wide variety of dishes, and we opted to try a little of everything. The quality of service matched the high standard of the food; the servers were attentive and genuinely kind, with the chef even personally delivering some of our dishes, which was a thoughtful gesture.Of all the offerings, the pork neck and the petrale sole were particularly memorable. The pork was remarkably tender and flavorful, while the fish, served with fresh vegetables and a puree, was crafted to offer a perfect blend of flavors in each bite. The pricing was on the higher side, but given the quality of the food and the overall experience, it felt justified. This restaurant offers a level of southern cuisine that is both fulfilling and exceptionally well-prepared. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal that won’t leave you feeling weighed down“
