“This place is definitely a hidden gem in Oakland! Last week I was craving some Chinese so where did I go? Panda Express of course! lol. I haven't been there in ages and boy oh boy the food was so bland. Sorry Panda! What a disappointment. Fast forward to the weekend and I stumbled across Lucky Chef Chen and this place hit the spot! Shared a meal with a friend of mine and everything was surprisingly good. Chow mein, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, broccoli, wow! Staff was very friendly also. Glad this restaurant is a part of the local community serving us delicious food. Support this mom and pop!“

“I ordered the island fire chicken and the kalua pork as an aloha plate. This was my first time so I didn't realize there wouldn't be Mac salad with my dish but I didn't need it! The food was really good! The island fire was spicy but sooo delicious. The service was great! Quick and the person that took my order was kind. I feel like I found a hidden gem. One photo I mixed it around so you could see the rice underneath the meat!“

“A Poke place walking distance from work. Portions are great for the small build a bowl. The spicy tuna with sriracha aioli is a must if you want some heat and balance with cucumbers and crab salad. Ordered online and I believe it was made quick but GrubHub was slow to update status. No line or customers when I arrived, but also sad because there is less foot traffic for the small businesses around here.“
