“My husband and I stopped in for sandwiches. Everything there is pre-made which they call Grab and Go. I had the Coronation Chicken and my husband had the Tarragon Chicken. They were delicious and the prices were reasonable. We also had a Southwestern Salad which was good but I thought it could use more corn and black beans. I understand that food costs are really high. They have a few tables to eat in. They also have Take and Bake dinners which I want to try. I think those have to be pre-ordered. We will be back even though it's a bit of a drive for us.“

“Very nice cocktails to start and the food was overall excellent. We had the amazing Brussels sprouts, the sliders and from the daily menu the stuffed lettuce leaves. The sprouts are the best we've ever had. The lettuce leaves had a slight sprite hit but not bad. The sliders were okay just missing something to take them over the top. Will certainly come back.“

“A thanksgiving sandwich is always a go to for me during the holiday season, this was my first time in here and they have a very extensive menu! The sandwich was served fast and was a healthy serving size. The bread was nice and fluffy and there was an abundance of turkey, I wish there was more cranberry sauce because it seemed to just blend in but otherwise great dish“

“Very friendly service. My friend and I shared the Salmon main course and Little gems salad. The lettuce was so fresh and delicious and the baby peas a great addition. The kitchen cooperated with my request to put Bernaise sauce on side. My friend enjoyed and I could avoid. They surprised us at end with chocolates and birthday candle marking my celebration. We hadn't reminded them. We went at 5 when they opened, outdoor patio lovely on a warm night and quiet before later diners arrived.“

“We enjoyed excellent service! Our wait staff was knowledgeable took time to explain drink options and dish ingredients. The restaurant was aware of our food allergies and made dining suggestions.Select the deviled eggs w/candied bacon, the focaccia is served w/ the tasty butter and baked garlic. The broccolini is also another must-have dish, while the Cesar salad w/ fancy anchovies is a subtle savory treat.Parking: There were only a few disabled spots near the ramp to the restaurant. The ramp was on an upward grade. Going up was fine. Going down after sitting for an hour was a slight challenge.“

“I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening with friends, all of whom have backgrounds in the food industry. We booked an early reservation at 5 p.m. and were immediately struck by the venue’s understated yet stylish décor, featuring rustic touches and a soft pink, floral theme. The menu was promising, showcasing a wide variety of dishes, and we opted to try a little of everything. The quality of service matched the high standard of the food; the servers were attentive and genuinely kind, with the chef even personally delivering some of our dishes, which was a thoughtful gesture.Of all the offerings, the pork neck and the petrale sole were particularly memorable. The pork was remarkably tender and flavorful, while the fish, served with fresh vegetables and a puree, was crafted to offer a perfect blend of flavors in each bite. The pricing was on the higher side, but given the quality of the food and the overall experience, it felt justified. This restaurant offers a level of southern cuisine that is both fulfilling and exceptionally well-prepared. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal that won’t leave you feeling weighed down“

“I was a huge fan of Delirama, my absolute favorite sandwich was the Delirama Mama, so I was sad to hear the owner was going to pivot in a new direction. I prefer take out to dining in, so I waited for that to be an option, and put my order in today. I got a fried chicken sandwich and the pastrami Reuben, both with chips. The menu says a small salad is served with the sandwiches. The fried chicken sandwich is HUGE and delicious. I prefer my fried chicken to be a little on the dark side, which this was. I only wished there were more pickles, but that's because if I could subsist on pickles I would. The Reuben was the same as the Delirama one. My husband was bummed it was "so small," but that's because I used to get the biggest sandwich option and this one is the regular sized one.The chips were yummy, and still warm from the fryer by the time I got home. Or had just taken on some of the radiant heat from my sandwich. Either way, delightful. The salad is not small, it is quite generous in size. The dressing is a little sweet and a lot acidic, which I really enjoyed. My one complaint is that it was overdressed for me, but I prefer the minimum amount of dressing.I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was a bit dark inside for me.“

“Outstanding restaurant, we have dined at Wood Tavern more times than I can recollect . We we rather disappointed recently when we called to make reservations for 4 for lunch on 2/25/2022 and were informed they only take reservations for 5 or more. Is this true ? If so they should so state on their web site.“

“Decided to check this spot out with my daughter and it did not disappoint. Im very picky about my katsu curry since I have high expectations. I went ahead and ordered it. Portion size was generous, chicken was crispy, and the overall flavor was tasty. The waiter came by and asked if i wanted more curry gravy. I personally thought the potatoes could have been left out but my dish was tasty and full filling. Customer service was on point even as it got busier. I would definitely come back.“

“This mac and cheese is perfect- PERFECT. When I'm not in the area, I cry. I got the cookbook for Christmas a couple of years ago and that can tide me over but of course, I'd rather it come from the OG. My absolute favorites are the pesto mac or pizza mac - both of which will rotate on and off the menu. A crunchy top is a necessity. I prefer the breadcrumbs but they have other options like hot Cheetos or chips too. Thank you for existing, Homeroom. ILY.“

“Met with friends at Los Feliz golf course. We came into Morrison for a quick bite and a beer. We are so happy we came in. We come to this place a lot because it's the best pub in Los Angeles. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. We worked with the amazing Danielle. She was super attentive and is one of the best servers I've ever had. We had Don Julio 1942 for 10$ a shot!! Thank you so much, we will be back soon!“

“Ok so first, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, AMAZING, TERRIFIC, and so much more. Second, once you have ordered your food it will come in 15 or less minutes! Third, once you come into the restaurant, (you may have to wait in a line) the hostess will ask you for your name and phone number, if you want to be seated outside or inside, and how long the wait time is (about 20 minutes). Lastly, you should definitely consider coming to Jack's if you're feeling hungry! (They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and lunch all day.) PS you HAVE to try the Mac and cheese!Vegetarian options: You could get the omelet (which is very good) if you are looking for something that is for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: The hostess would ask you if you want a kid(s) menus. Plenty of options on the kids menu.“

“I want to start by saying the ice cream the best stuff I have ever had, but it was either average or above so. I was motivated to try their invented flavors whose names I dont remember (rocky road, Swiss Chocolate, and roasted almonds?), and I personally liked all three. Rocky road tastes better in chocolate form, the Swiss one tasted like fancy cookies and cream, and the roasted almond tasted like roasted nuts. No complaints. Atmosphere was awesome with the classic creamery feel. Nothing felt rushed. Staff was extremely friendly and fun. Answered any question we had or retrieved the answer when they didn't know. All smiles.“

“I was looking for a breakfast/ brunch spot that was new to me and a friend suggested Doyle St. Cafe.Word was their blue corn pancakes were amazing. If you are a cornbread fan and the idea of cornbread pancakes appeals to you these are the hotcakes for you! The cinnamon vanilla butter sets them off on another level. The tip we got was to pour the syrup as you go, and that was sound advice!I had the Huevos Rancheros and my friend had the Ranchero Omelette. Brace yourself for a flavor explosion like none other. Want to take it to another world? Add the Cholula green sauce and buckle up.Drinks are in abundance. We had a dirty Chai latte, 2 mimosas and an Arnold Palmer. The service was friendly, welcoming and phenomenal. From the host, to the waitstaff, to the bussers. This place is a gem with an outside patio on dry days so your pup can come along.Vegetarian options: Most breakfast items are either vegetarian or can be made so.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian and very accomodating of needs overall.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor plenty of space to maneuver. Tables that make it easy to accommodate a wheelchair.“

“We love this place. The food is spot on, the service is friendly and we love the crowd. The food is delicious, the drinks are well-made (the bar was worth the wait) and the menu changes up now and again which keeps it fresh. Love the brunch. The mimosas are high quality where other places scrape the bottom of the bubbly barrel. Thanks to Matt Horn for giving this to Oakland.“

“Ordered on Doordash. The price and quality are probably the best I've ever had from the site in years of ordering. I'll be ordering from here in the future without a doubt.I got the chicken bowl with lemon thyme dressing and there's a reason it's their number 1 seller. The cashew chocolate comes in dressing containers but they're also reasonably priced.“
“This is my favorite comedy club in the Bay Area. Staff is incredible, crowds are always fun. Thank you Patrick & Lori for making something truly special! Also the food is the best in any comedy club in the country. The calamari is the best I’ve ever had, and any 1-star review you read to the contrary is from a classless bumpkin who is not to be trusted.“

“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. Two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“Loved my birthday dinner tonight! Portions small for the prices in our opinion. A scallops main dish with 3 scallops is small. Drinks were amazing, decor fabulous and great service. My son had to go eat more food afterwards as he was still hungry. Bigger portions would be good. Loved everything else! Great choices, appetizers, main dishes and creative drinks were delicious. Kind of surprised knowing they knew it was my birthday that they didn't offer me a birthday "something" to make it special. For these prices I would expect something.“

“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

“Everything I've ordered here (dine-in and takeout) salads, breakfasts plates, sandwiches etc have been cooked to perfection, super fresh and tasty ingredients, and abundant portions to enjoy the yumminess again for lunch or dinner. Elevated and palate pleasing menu offerings, like the lemon ricotta pancakes and the tahini lentil salad with added grilled chicken! Some of the dishes come with many different sides (like oatmeal, toppings, bread, fruit) making it a complete family meal. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They are super nice and patient with my toddler, and always throw in an extra little side or crayons etc when he engages with them <3. “Owner Michael Karp and his awesome staff have created a tap room style bar & grill that really feels like a home away from home (think 'Cheers' - where everybody knows your name...). Staff and customers are friendly, drinks are stiff, beer list is 2nd to none in this area, and believe it or not, they've got a killer little wine list too. Doren Cab and Josie Rosé by the glass -- Get after it! The food is solid too. It's not super fancy but comfort food that hits the mark for simplicity and quality. If the weather is nice, they've got a killer patio with firepit and TVs showing the top games. If you find yourself in Orinda looking for a great restaurant and fun watering hole, look no further than Fourth Bore!“
