“Friendly and helpful staff“

“I've been going to the "Shine" for almost 30 years. Where I grew up, in Wisconsin, places like this were called taverns. They were warm, welcoming places for good food and drink. The culture there goes from 8 to 80, blind, crippled and crazy. Mostly nice people who want good food and drink in a friendly atmosphere.“

“We went by Parktown today and loved the outdoor area. They had tvs with the games on and the craft beer selection was awesome. We opted to sit outside and loved it. The pizza was the best I've had. The staff were nice and helped us choose the right pizzas and beer. I will definitely be coming back.“

“First time there and it won’t be my last. I suffered greatly when Saddlerack closed but this place is a very good replacement. The new owner, Tom, was roaming around making sure everyone was taken care of, several of the dance instructors (Mike and Lisa) quizzed patrons on the quality of the dancing and band (Bootleg)…which did a wide variety of covers from LadyA, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, Dwight Joakim, Brooks n Dunn to name a few with great harmony and band support. The hit of the evening for me was “Tennessee Whiskey” which is one of the most vocally challenging songs/entertainers to cover. They did Chris Stapleton honor. Good beer, funnest and most friendly patrons and staff I have met, and an evening that passed before I knew it. I’ll be back next week for more of the same…trust me. Look forward to seeing you there.“

“A novel and fun way to try different beers. It’s like a yogurt shop but you pour yourself beer. You are charged by the ounce. Try 1 or 20 it’s up to you. I enjoyed being able to try as many as I wanted. They also had a nice cocktail bar. Hanger One Mandarin Vodka! Yummm!“

“I rated it higher since I'm not really a bar guy. This is probably the dive bar you want to go to. Still, not my favorite place to be. Mostly because I like quieter places. But a bunch of my friends go here so I end up here every once in a while. Could be worse.“

“Love that they have gluten free pizza and are family friendly. We enjoyed our lunch with the kids in the outdoor patio area on a nice sunny day. We enjoyed everything from the artichoke dip, gluten free pizza and deep dish pizzas.“

“My husband and I bought Jack’s a year ago to create a cozy space in our neighborhood for comfort food, freshly brewed beer, live music, and all the sports you’d like to root for. “Service was pretty bad. Takes too long for the order to come. We ordered 3 bone marrow, but only got 2. Ran out of fruits at around 8pm. We are giving only 90 minutes to eat, but we spent most of the time waiting for the meat to come, and then we need to cook.“
