Inglenook

We went to the Bay Area's most historic and breathtaking winery on a Sunday afternoon and we're so happy that we did! We got their library tasting in their Athenaeum, which was gorgeous and brightly lit. The wines we thoughtfully crafted and paired well with the cheese and crackers given. We visited Napa back in September and I'm finally getting around to leaving my reviews! Better late than never. We visited Inglenook for a bistro reservation. You can get coffee or wine by the glass and sit outside in the garden. The weather was beautiful and you could hear all of the birds chirping and fountains running. We really enjoyed the unique caves here, fully upgraded in 2023, these are easily the most modern caves we have seen in napa. Our guide was very friendly, and the chateau is beautiful. Wines were pricey compared to what we'd seen in europe, charcuterie board was a nice touch.We would have liked to learn a little more about the ancient history of winemaking, the origins of winemaking, etc, like we had learned at other wineries, but that bears no impact on the positive experience...read full review
