“A small little viby bistro on Main Street in St Helena is worth a stop. The restaurant is clean and tidy with chill decor. Tables with tablecloth and proper napkins gives this restaurant an upscale feel. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is a nice size and the wine list is as well. The menu confused me a bit with the choices of ravioli, fish and chips, a burger and tacos in the same menu but it kinda worked. The food came out quiclkly and hot. The burger was noshed down quickly as was the fish and chips. The artichoke was a bit wet even though it was grilled. The pumpkin ravioli was tasty but a bit too sweet. The wines we chose were good quality and went well with the food. All in all a good experience. Caution: parking is not that easy to find and you may have to walk a bit.“
“We stopped here on our wine tasting journey for a quick bite in between tastings. We both ordered 2 tacos each. The carne assada and pollo. The team working the truck were super nice and service was fast. We were able to sit on a picnic bench right beside the truck...and wow, they were simply amazing. We would highly recommend this place for lunch. Soooo goood.“
“Omg ? I just discovered this taco truck recently - I work in Yountville and everything is so expensive there!! The other place that I regularly go is the deli but I was getting tired of my turkey sandwich every day. I’ve had the taco salad (it’s not on the menu board but just ask for it) the nacho’s and 3 Street tacos ? it is all SUPER DELICIOUS!! Cash only so you have to come prepared!!“
“I have been here multiple occasions, food is always exquisite. Tacos Al Pastor are a Must. Today our server offered their new Addition to their appetizer list: chicharrones. Crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Two chicharrones ordered and devoured within minutes.“
“Nestled in a luxurious, beachy setting, Picobar offers an authentic Mexican dining experience paired with vibrant craft cocktails. The atmosphere transports you to a tropical paradise, blending casual elegance and relaxation in a vacation-like ambiance by the poolside. The menu offers an array of casual mexian dishes, some of the standout stars are unquestionably the Birria and Al Pastor Tacos. The Birria Tacos, with their tender, flavorful meat wrapped in perfectly toasted tortillas, offer a burst of traditional Mexican flavors that leave a lasting impression. The whipped guacamole is also an absolute must-try!The cocktails at Picobar are also a huge highlight. Some of our favorites were the Elephants Memory cocktail with a refreshing blend of flavors and a suble smokyness from the Mezcal, while the Green Flash cocktail delivers a zesty, invigorating kick that perfectly complements the vibrant setting. What truly sets Picobar apart is the hospitality and incredible ambiance, we could have lounged there all day and would highly reccomend that you give this place a try!“
“We came on a lovely 70° day in January, got lushed up at a winery and stopped by here for lunch. The empanadas were very good, especially paired with the red pickled cabbage. We also had the parradillos and guacamole, those were good too. ???️“
“One of my usual haunts when in wine country. I've been here more times than I can remember and have tried several things: carne asada tacos/burritos, carnitas tacos/burritos, chicken tamales, cheese tamales, nachos..... thus far, I've yet to be disappointed with anything. The tamales can sometimes be a bit on the dry side but throw on some fresh salsa over them & problem solved. Food is very reasonably priced, which is saying a lot considering where it's located. Can't go wrong ever eating here!“
“The Zapata Grill was a terrific experience. We ordered carryout our first night in town, just a light meal of two tacos each and it was fast, reasonably priced and delicious. Just right! The next day we had a group of 6 at Zapata for a sit down lunch. The service was great and the food delicious again, everyone was happy, especially the one who picked up the check and called us cheap dates!“
“Stopped by Villa Corona on our way back from a winery to our hotel and the food was amazing! I grabbed a steak wrap while my wife grabbed a fish taco and both were pleasantly surprised by the waility of the ingredients! What even made the experience better was the service from Thiago! Keep up the good work guys! Highly recommended“
