On a good day you'll get your bowl right at the register! THE CURRY UDON IS A GIFT FROM THE HEAVENS! Try the curry udon, creamy and filled with yummy toppings like potatoes, carrots, and green onions. Meat is always so tender, the udon is chewy and thick! Narrow restaurant similar to the ones in Japan, beautiful wooden walls and floor with tables that can sit from 2-5. Perfect for a rainy day, it'll instantly warm your whole body. Get it any type of day really, they don't disappoint. Love the ambience and decorations. Try if you haven't already. I Ippen Udon!“

“Best sushi in Santa Rosa! We always get fast and friendly service. The sushi is made with fresh ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. We appreciate they don't smother all the rolls with a bunch of sauce like other sushi restaurants. The ingredients are always fresh and clean . We pick up all the time and we've never been disappointed. I have two young picky eaters and they love Kamura! They won't eat sushi from anywhere else ( I've tried) ...but they gobble this stuff down quick! This is our favorite restaurant.“

“We wanted to try a new sushi place, this is going to be our new favorite! We tried the gyoza, Dragon Roll, Hamachi Lovers roll, and the Tropical Dream roll. Everything was delicious and very fresh (which is saying something since we went towards closing time on a Monday night). The service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. “Came in for sushi with a friend...turned out I LOVED the Korean BBQ!!! So much fun! Went back a few weeks later for my daughter's birthday and we got a TON of food! My daughter is obsessed with all things Japanese and wanted birthday sushi...turns out she apparently likes Korean BBQ too! I really appreciated the waitress making sure that we knew the dish she ordered was spicy. Staff was very welcoming, helpful when we ordered and even took the time to give her a complimentary dessert for her birthday THAT WAS DELIVERED BY A HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGING ROBOT!!! “This is really a good restaurant and it’s located on Farmer’s in Santa Rosa, CA. I had originally gone to another restaurant but they were so “full” and I just wanted to get a meal to go and be out of there. I ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Udon Noodles box which consisted of the Udon Noodles, kale, bean sprouts, steamed rice, side salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with a Japanese dressing. A soup with tofu & green onions in a bone beef broth. Also, I order the Jumbo Tempura Shrimp and it came with a teriyaki sauce. A very good meal with large portions. Friendly staff & a clean environment which is very important to me.“

“The guy at the register was personable and helpful. We had a large order, so.it took a little while to get our food, but it was well worth the wait. They gave us some extra spicy sauce for our spicy bowls, and it was very good. The spicy pork bowl and spicy chicken bowls were both large serving and impressively seasoned and flavors. The gyoza was crunchy on the outside with a fairly large amount of filling. The Thai rolls were great. My wife loved the chicken katsu. All of the food seemed to be fresh, and prepared well. The salads had a sweet vinegar type dressing, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Last but not least, their sushi list is lengthy and full of diverse options. Overall a great place to get thai/korean food. I will definitely be a return customer.“

“Really good sushi, fresh fish, veteran sushi chef Gilbert takes great care of his customers at the sushi bar. As far as menu pricing goes, Makizushi lands on the affordable side of the sushi spectrum. New owner is a young entrepreneur, doing a great job!“

“This place was awesome! We ordered sushi to go, and got two signature, rolls and one sushi/nigiri combo. The fish was quite good. And all of the items were fresh and carefully prepared. My five star rating is based on the incredible value and very good food. The service was also excellent. I really appreciate them offering a substantial cash discount it would be a great place to dine in as well, it's cozy with a lot of wood and very efficient service.“

“Was in the mall for birthday shopping when my dad was gonna get Philly cheese steak and i saw this place and the guy was super nice and was like hey its free man and let me try all the chicken flavors and i was sold the foods super good and the guys super nice, hes a marketing genius. 10/10 would recommend!“

“The food here is always fresh and hefty. I had the dinner all you can eat special. I was full. I wish I had more room in my tummy to fit more food during the time I was there. The service was good except for that other tables who ordered after us got their meals before we got ours. They have a restroom for the customers and metered parking is available when it is not during peak hours for the area. Thank you.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a few vegetarian dishes to choose from and are really delicious too!“

“Nice, cute, cozy place to have lunch. The dynamite sushi was the best; the rainbow and dragon rolls were delicious as well. The staff were friendly. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is that the Thai tea tasted burnt for some reason. I don't know if the Boba was burnt; it was also plain. Other than that, I would come back for more sushi.“
