“I've seen this Peggy Sue's a number of times and finally decided to come in on a Saturday evening with some friends for dinner. The space was larger than I thought it was. It had plenty of seats and TVs up around the bar. You order at the front and the food is brought to your table. Otherwise, it has classic diner feel. Food: First off, as any good diner should do, they serve breakfast all day. Half my friends got breakfast and were thrilled. I ordered a veggie burger with fries. The burger was good, nothing to write home about. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. Service: Service was friendly. The kitchen was sporadic on when our food came out. Some items came later than others. It wasn't terrible, but it was noticeable. TL;DR - classic diner feel with decent food and service“

“What a cute little spot in downtown! Stopped here for a girls night catch up and they had the perfect little room with a couch and fire for an intimate vibe. The ambiance is so perfect and cozy for a more relaxed night out. The bartenders were so nice and helpful when ordering. The food was pretty straight to the point but yummy so I can't complain. The viognier was crisp but I definitely enjoyed the Bella Montagna Sav Blanc more. I would definitely come back here for a date night!“

“Elevated beer and pizza, and pinball to boot. Owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their pizza menu is solid, and they’re good with swapping out ingredients for vegans, etc.“

“Austin and staff saved me. My wife had got me glasses about 6 years ago and I am questioned anytime I don't have them on... I wore them for the first time and accidentally put them on my head and forgot. When using the urinal. I chose to set them on the bathroom counter- apparently. When I came back to my seat- my glasses were gone! Someone stole them, I was ready to prove this theory, and I failed in doing so. So as I cried on my way out and took care of my bill, I gave one last desperate ask of everyone at the bar "has anyone seen a pair of glasses...yes, sun glasses, I respond to a random "sunglasses or reading glasses" I walked(and cried) away. About 30 seconds later, Austin saved me and my relationship with my wife... I have glasses back- the same ones she holds me accountable by. Apparently some a**hole put them on the bathroom counter and just left them there!“

“Stevie's Bar & Grill in San Jose isn't just a bar, it's a sanctuary for the soul and a paradise for beer enthusiasts. Each time I return to San Jose, Stevie's is my go-to spot, a reliable haven where the beer flows as freely as the good times. With a draft beer selection that's second to none, Stevie's is like a grand library of brews, each one a story waiting to be savored. The attentive staff elevates the experience, making sure your glass is never empty and your spirits are always high. The vibe here is electric yet welcoming, a perfect backdrop for the delectable snackable treats they serve. And if you're in a crunch for time, the adjacent laundromat turns a chore into a chance for relaxation – sip and savor while you spin and rinse! Stevie's is more than a bar; it's a clever twist on the traditional, a gem that makes San Jose shine a little brighter.“

“I just attended a Graduation Party at The Halford. It was a very nice experience. Good food, ample seating, robot servers. The owner Sophia went out of her way to make the party a success. And there are live trivia games that you can play I Plan to have future events there .“

“Pizza California is a Gem of a pizza spot! Clean and beautiful interior with friendly staff, great pizza/wings/beer, and some sports playing in the background!! Patio seating is a nice touch too in the spring/summer! The little one has a dairy allergy so he got the vegan cheese pizza and literally said it was the beat pizza he ever had. If you want quality all around, I recommend this pizza joint a lot! Will be back most definitely“

“Convenient spot & a fantastic selection of beers. Plus... They always have a good stout on tap, year-round, which for some reason is hard to find in the south bay area.We stopped going to Loma & Happas because stouts are unpredictable and/or non-existent except for a couple winter months.“

“We had a wonderful experience here! We rented the upstairs room for our wedding reception. They worked with us on scheduling as well as kept up during the event to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend considering them for your event or just for great pizza!“

“I stopped in here a week ago with friends for a glass of wine and some small bites before dinner. The staff was really friendly and we received great service! There were only two ladies working and the place was packed but they were able to still manage the crowd and you weren't left feeling forgotten. The food was really good and you get a lot, so much that we didn't need dinner after having the charcuterie board they prepared and we also had the pretzel knots which were delicious with the mustard sauce. They have a good selection of wine and beer. We will definitely go back to sample the other items they have to offer. It's a cute place downtown Willow Glen!!“

“AH-MAZING experience, from the moment we started walking in up through the end without ceasing until we left. The owner was in such a great mood he was singing (very well). He was friendly, happy, and it was infectious. I ordered the Pollo Niko and an Italian Soda The chicken and the sauce was delicious, rich and creamy. The mashed potatoes were excellent. My wife ordered the lasagna (9 out of 10) We also got an Apple Strudel. It was so good I momentarily forgot my name!!! Experience: 10 out of 10 Food: 9.75 out of 10 Cost: 8 out of 10“

“This is a cool little spot! The beer was good! We got a flight of 6 for $25. The only down side was it seemed like they were running out a few of the sours that were listed on the wall. This gives a little bar/restaurant vibe! Our kiddo had the build your own pasta and we had the spicy Italian pizza. Both were really good! There is a wine spot connected to this place so if beer isn't your thing but wine is, you're in luck! Only negatives for this spot is parking is super limited but that's because it's little Italy and some of the patrons seemed like they were a little sloppy drunk. One guy in 30 minutes put down 3 shots and a beer and was already on a good one when we got there. He for sure should've been cut off! We will be back though!“

“Disclaimer: This review is only based on 2 beers and a quarter pound of the brisket to-go.After a hearty dinner, my friend and I decided we wanted something to quench our thirst. This place was relatively close and he chose well as there were enough spaces at the bar for us to enjoy a beer while watching NBA playoffs on TV. My friend’s into beers so I let him decide. We had a Mega Sunshine (an imperial double IPA). Oh yeah, it was hazy and hoppy. Maybe even a bit too hoppy for me. :P Then he decided to go for a can of beer Dibs on Next Wave from Humble Sea Brewing Company. Pretty flavorful. My friend said their brisket is the bomb so I decided to just get a quarter pound to go. I totally regretted that decision. I should have ordered at least half a pound. The briskets were so juicy and flavorful even the next day. My wife who’s a big meat eater gave her stamp of approval as well. I assume they make their own bbq sauce. Even the sauce was mesmerizing. I said I would get a full pound next time and my wife agreed. Can’t wait to go back~“
“Blink and you’ll miss this elevated, second story taproom located above Whole Foods. I dropped in around 6 on a Wednesday and the place was poppin like the face of a teenager that just hit puberty. Luckily I was able to order relatively quickly and even luckier, I found a seat that overlooked the intersection with a view of the San José Shark arena, the fabled Shark Tank. The weather was great. The crowd was animated. The bartenders were tag teaming the line like the iconic WWE champs The Hart Foundation. And the Riwaka Juice Double IPA and Textured Shapes Triple IPA were delicious, golden sun goddess kisses to my lips.Notes: there’s an elevator for those that aren’t good with stairs and the restroom is on the first floor, but ask for the code ahead of time or you’ll be sorely disappointed.“

“What a fun experience! This new Colombian restaurant has it all... Ambience, flavor, and culture. The aroma as you walk in surrounds you with delicious smoked meats, and smells of home- cooked Colombian meals. We loved every bite, and will definitely be back for more. Thank you to the hosts and great service.“

Spicy salsa. Crisp chips. My son described his carne asada burrito as heavenly. I had carnitas el pastor and fish tacos. All were spot on.“
