“Absolutely delicious! The service, food, and drinks were phenomenal! Why not 5 stars, because they dont have high chairs which is a complete bummer since Truckee is a place a lot of families come to visit with their children and don't have child care to go without them. I hope they consider making this change as I would definitely come every time I'm in town if it was more comfortable for children to join.“

“We went to the cafe for a Carne Asada bowl. The food itself was good, but I thought it was grossly overpriced. The meat was delicious, but only about four bites. The bean portion was more generous, but very ordinary, maybe canned. The bowl was topped with a tablespoon of salsa, guacamole and sour creme. We got the meal to go . It was in a round container 6 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches tall and priced at $19 dollars. At least I didnt overeat that night!“

They are also running an earth month campaign during April where you get $0.50 off when you bring your own cup, as well as offering 20% off all retail mugs and tumblers.“

“Food is delicious! Every dish is well-balanced with a focus on bringing out the best in quality ingredients. We ordered the arancini per other recommendations and it was tasty. The charcuterie board is on point - a little bit of everything from familiar to unique. The Brussels sprouts are roasted and served with a balsamic-tinged sauce. The kale salad has tahini that balances a lemon tang. We split the steak frites and the butternut squash ravioli which were both done well. Service was fast and friendly. We ate an early dinner right after the lifts closed and it was only us plus a couple of other tables. The inside of the restaurant is bright and fresh. It's a tad expensive - appetizers/main/drinks might run ~ $75pp but a good value given the quality of the food.“

It took us a while to make the reservation because the place is not always open and it took us several messages before getting a call back. We agreed on the menu and beverages ahead of time. “Uncorked is a wine merchant right in downtown Truckee. They offer a broad selection of bottles or several selections by the glass. They do also serve a few snacks if your visit includes a lot of sampling. Our host was pleasant and timely. The interior is fancy-rustic and a little dark. The a/c made for a nice and comfortable stop on a warm July day. The place is pretty pricey so we kept our visit brief.“

“Our tallest server was excellent - first time customers. The setting was stunning. Made the evening! The food was good. I had the ribs and my wife had the risotto. Wine selection was good too. I think it's a bit overpriced. Will go back again!“

“Beautiful location, great service, good wine. We have been coming here for years. We enjoy sitting outside taking in the beautiful scenery and sipping wine. The staff is very knowledgeable and provides good recommendations. It's always been a good experience. But last time they really outdid themselves. I left my wallet on the couch. I called Uncorked as soon as I found out. Megan picked up the phone. She was kind enough to find it and put it away. I went back the the next day to pick it up. I highly recommended Uncorked for their wines, set up and service. Im very grateful for Megan for her honesty and kindness.“
