They’re committed to sustainability and serve their drinks in glass containers— big ups to their ownership for walking the walk!“

“The Humble House Cafe is a small, quaint breakfast shop tucked into the main street in Golden. After walking in, order at the counter for one of their coffees or teas. Both the cappuccino and latte were delicious and would highly recommend. We split three entrees and were not disappointed! The Rosie, the bacon and grits and the Liege waffle with banana were so good. We barely finished them, the portions were good. The ambiance and music were mellow like a coffee shop and the service staff were so nice! Would recommend for any breakfast or brunch in the area. One of the coolest things was their donation to their partner charities which are so great.“

“Love this place. I enjoy a healthy lunch there once a week (sometimes more). Love the Volcano Bowl and the Tiki Toast. And the newly installed garage doors are perfect. Great local business run by a wonderful Golden family.“

“Smaller store compared to your typical WF. If your shopping for a grocery list you might not find everything here. Salad bar is legit at his location with rare items including Beet Poke, Cream potato, honey baked ham, curry whitefish, and three different types of Mac and cheese. I noticed salad bar price is $9 per pound now before it was $10. The oatmeal is $5 per pound before 10am.“

“There was only a single employee here, but I have to say, he was in a really pleasant mood, very friendly, conversational, and (is it okay to say this?) super cute, LOL. I wish I got his name because he deserves recognition for such a good job. When I let slip we were from Texas and there are so few Jambas out there, he was inquisitive about if we were headed home, and even wished us safe travels! Aww, that's so nice! He helpfully asked if I had a rewards account (which after not getting to enjoy Jamba for 3+ years, I'd completely forgotten about) and found it with my phone number; there was even a coupon he applied! Can't believe it was still valid after so long, ha. When he made my merry cranberry orange smoothie, he had some leftover after filling my large size and very kindly offered to put it in a small cup for me. Yippee!! (I've seen employees at similar places toss the extra before and it always makes me sad to see the waste and not just give your customers a smile.) It was also FREAKING DELICIOUS. Holy moly. I'd been tempted to get one of my fave old-standby flavors but I'm so glad I tried the new flavor. YOU GOTTA TRY IT. OKAY??The bathroom was reasonably clean and readily available for anyone. And there was an awesome and colorful mural on the wall. Fun!“

“Love the ambiance and supporting local business but the staff isn’t always cheery. We have never received a good morning etc just an “hi, what can I get for you”, but a smile helps. Also, went last weekend and both hubby and I got a chorizo burrito. He told me that towards the middle, his burrito was cold. He didn’t want to say anything about it. As I can kept eating mine, noticed it was cold too, not ice cold but cold. We decided to not say anything this time (things happen) but will definitely, politely, mention it if it occurs again.“

“I have allergies, gluten and dairy but also potato, and Blue Sky was very accommodating and I felt very comfortable that they understood food issues well and communicated then accurately, which is so important to me. Our food was delicious, every bit of it, from the carrot apple ginger juice to the breakfast tacos (made safe for me) and the smothered burrito for my friend. SO good. Our server Angeles was so friendly and efficient, and the artwork is wonderful. We did have to wait about 20 min to get in but once we were seated, Angeles came to take care of us almost immediately and the food was ready so fast. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in the area!!“
