This restaurant in the owners are simply to die for. If you are within 50 miles of this place you have to come and check it out. All of the food is scrumptious and the drinks are delightful.

Made a reservation for a party of 6 ended up with only 5 of us showing up. This place is cute and homie. The waitstaff are friendly and the owner was awesome! It was a nice quiet night, we had a late reservation and had the place to ourselves which with the amazing culture of friends we have made for a great ambiance adding to the decor. The food was phenomenal. We ordered many tapas and I was really looking to try the paella but that will have to wait for next time! The tapas were so good, great portions and perfect amount of tastes for all of us to share and hoard some for ourselves. We cannot wait to go back for the paella Saturday night that the owner told us about. They also have Sunday brunch which if we didn't have to work every Sunday we would totally be hitting up as well. I hope this place is here to stay and definitely will now be added into our regular places to go.

Paella was so freaking good, and the brunch??? What a deal for so much good quality food. The service was wonderful as well, the family who owns this place was truly delightful and I will be coming back pretty much every Sunday for brunch now. 10000/10.

White wine selection was good. Meat and cheese platter went well with wine. Other tapas were just okay and dessert was just a strawberry moose with bread in center.

Recently, I was there with a small group of friends. Sarah the owner was an amazing host. All COVID protocols followed. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything is made to order so it does take time, but it's worth it. In the past, Sarah has donated food to the local residents when restaurants were forced to close due to the pandemic. I enjoyed my visit there and it's great to support local businesses.

The food is very creative and is a change of pace from the other restaurants in town, which don’t get me wrong: I love our Italian places!! And the sisters make you feel like you’re a guest in their home. Definitely don’t miss Sunday bottomless brunch with the 3 course tapas.

Gaudi is an improbably charming little tapas restaurant tucked away on Pembroke, not far from the New Fairfield / Danbury border. Although I see that it's been open for a while, we never noticed it was there until it came up through a Yelp search. If you just peep it from the outside, from the road, you might expect a casual, fast-food joint. But once you pull into the lot and glimpse the pretty, tableclothed dining room and covered back patio with heat lamps through the large bay window, you realize you're in for a far more elevated experience than that. We did not dine in, but took advantage of one of the three very well-priced family dinner specials currently available for takeout: six tapas ($61); the paella package for four with salad, tortilla, croquetas ($55); and a two tapas + paella + sangria package ($50). We went with the family of four package. The salad was shockingly delicious, far better than expected, given the lack of description on the menu. Where one might expect a wilted iceberg lettuce with a slice of sad, wintry tomato, we received two large, gorgeous mesclun salads (meant for four people), topped with sliced, ripe strawberries, two medallions of breaded, pan-fried goat cheese apiece, drizzled with a sweet balsamic vinaigrette, and garnished with toasted sunflower seeds. Fantastic! The paella mixta was extraordinarily generous wrt to the amount seafood. It was positively bursting with prawns, mussels, clams, and calamari, with a few bits of chicken cooked in, as well. We enjoyed the authentic, al dente texture of the short-grain paella rice. We didn't expect, and didn't receive, any of the lovely, crusty socarrat that is probably my primary motivation for eating paella -- but in all honesty, not many places in the US serve paella with its socarrat. (If you are not as lazy as I am, you could theoretically develop it yourself on a stovetop in a cast iron pan.) The paella was as generous on the sodium as it was on the seafood, and the seafood was probably previously frozen to judge by its "fishy "flavor -- but when I note that the entire four-person meal at Gaudi cost as much as a single order of our favorite paella in NYC, I find it that much harder to complain. The tiny little croquetas were tasty and fun, beautifully fried and not at all greasy. They came with a cheesy dipping sauce. The tortilla espanola was a one-inch-thick disk with thicker, larger chunks of potato, covered in a sauce that was cheese-tinged rather than the more traditional aioli. This was not the four inch-thick, pressed affair with thinly sliced potatoes we are accustomed to seeing at our go-to tapas bars, but this variation (maybe a more homestyle one) was delicious in its own right. The dinner came, much to our happy surprise, with two very soft, low-gluten bread rolls (what we usually call "Portuguese bread," accurately or not) and a small hunk of a more glutinous pan de barra, all served with herbed butter. What a nice, generous touch! All in all we were quite enamoured with our meal and the eco-friendly takeout packaging it came in -- and floored by the incredible value. We'll be back for the six-tapas carryout package in the not-too-distant future... and probably everything else on the menu, too. Lovely food, lovely woman running the place (Sarah, I believe she said), who kindly brought our order out to the lot as soon as I arrived and processed payment outdoors. Hope we keep this place open as a community. If we don't, it will be our loss!
