Took my adult children here for dinner as they both wanted Mexican food and we were in Hartford for a concert. Was taken aback by the loud Spanish rap music playing that didn't really fit the vibe for 5pm. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered a few appetizers to share- taquitos, empanadas, flautas, mexi rice and my son got a chimichanga. We also ordered a passion fruit margarita for 2. The marg was so heavy with passion fruit syrup I couldn't drink it. Just disgusting. Didn't taste much tequila. I let my son drink it all and I got a beer that took a long time to arrive. Son enjoyed his chimichanga. Taquitos and empanadas seemed like they were straight out of the freezer and heavily salted. Mexi rice was the yellow, no spices, no taste, and had corn in it. So gross. Flautas were ok. We were not asked how our food was. Check was $98 for a sub par dining experience. The Sonic fast food we had after the concert was 10x better than this place and much cheaper. Skip this place. Not good.
