“Went there for a friend's birthday dinner. Heard a lot about this new place in Westport, and it didn't disappoint. Love the ambiance, and the bar. The bartender made me a great Manhattan. The homemade past was delicious. Not every place carries cacio e pepe, and they made it perfectly. Not the cheapest eats, but for special occasions definitely worth it.“

“Fantastic place with a cool oak bar. Excellent food with all kinds of meat cuts. Mediterranean forward food. Very good quality service and one of the best bar teams I've ever seen, and I'm a server and bartender. Also used to work here. They also have the coolest owner I've ever worked for. Doug reminded me a lot of Christopher Walken with a take no prisoners mentality. He takes great care of their customers and their staff. Just an instant Westport classic.“

“My wife and I ordered take-out from Tacombi. We had been to one in Jersey city a long time ago and recalled it was quite delicious. So we were eager to try it when it came to Westport. To our delight the food was delicious. I had a Birria Taco Plato, I thought it was flavorful the beef did not disappoint maybe wish there was more. I like how they package it for take-out. My wife had the fish taco and shrimp taco. I tried shrimp taco, it had a very bold flavor that catchs the back sides of the tounge (highly recommend). We also ordered corn esquites, best way to eat corn. Their Totopos (tortilla chips) are addicting nice crunch goes well with guacamole. We also chicken quesidilla, which was also pleasant maybe could have used more cheese. I look forward to dining in as the weather gets better.“

“we had everything from 5 different appetizers, to four entrees and 5 different desserts. We go out to eat all the time but have never gone here. So we tried it, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The servers were very friendly and professional and on the ball. The food omg. What can I say it was magnificant. The manager came around and made sure everyone was happy, then the owner Danny came in and introduced himself. This is the best restaurant we have ever been to with the best food we have ever tasted. “Great food and cocktails! Consistently delicious. Frequent menu additions/changes. Great happy hour. The passion fruit margarita is the perfect summer drink. Some of the best small plates anywhere. The guacamole, gambas and brussels sprouts are a must as well as the pollo chacha. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere and very clean. Great place for a celebration!“

“Absolutely love Taco Guy!Between the impeccable service and authentic food - Taco Guy is by far one of the best restaurants in Downtown Norwalk. The staff are lovely and can answer any questions you have about the menu and the bartenders are fantastic mixologists. I have a friend with a severe dairy allergy and when we go to restaurants they often mess up their order. Taco Guy was so accommodating, careful and understanding of how severe a mix up could be.Would 100% recommend Taco Guy if you are in the Fairfield County Area!“

“Very good food and beverages and our waitress guided me carefully through the menu to accommodate a gluten allergy. The daily oysters were fantastic, and we enjoyed the other items we ordered very much: fish tacos, vegetable salad, miso salmon, and a dry rose wine. Subtracting a star because we were forgotten for a while after being seated (more than 15 minutes) and then the bartender opened the door to take out the mats and garbage and left it open for a long time when it was below freezing outside. We froze and that ruined the romantic vibe.“

“We had a delicious date night dinner out at The Spread. We sat in the covered, heated outdoor dining space and the lighting and fireplace made it very cozy and enjoyable. The food was delicious - we ordered smaller plates to share. The service was very attentive, almost to a fault. The bus staff was very on top of filling our waters the second we took a sip and taking plates the moment the last bite was taken. There were many staff members in the outdoor space that we felt that we were being watched as we ate, and they were ready to pounce and clear the table as soon as we finished something. We did feel rushed, which was the only downfall of the meal.“

“My boyfriend and I went to 1920 Bar and Bistro on a whim at the recommendation of his boss. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and walked to a table that was adorned beautifully with care and quality. As we started with wine, we were met with a knowledgeable conversation about our options and ended up with two glasses tailored to our taste. Then we started on a fantastic charcuterie board with fresh marmalade and an amazing cheese spread. From there we had Gorgonzola gnocchi and a NY strip. We couldn’t decide which we enjoyed more, but had to stop ourselves from licking the plate. At this point we thought we were full, but were tempted by the dessert menu. We enjoyed a coconut creme brûlée and tiramisu— the tiramisu was our favorite, but we highly recommend the crème brûlée too! During our dining experience, we were greeted not only by the chef, but by both owners as well. All had such genuine and beautiful personalities.There has never been a more beautiful and inviting dining experience in Norwalk. We can’t wait to visit again and are thinking about hosting an event here after just one dinner.I hope you find yourself dining with a loved one here soon. Humphrey Bogart greets you as you enter this throwback to comfort and great drinks. Small bites are available and they are very good too.What a contrast to the more casual, college crowd bars and restaurants nearby. J.B.'s is an adult oasis of flavor infused drinks served in great glassware by attentive folks in a great spot.Cheers!“

Instead of getting stringy, shredded chicken, the salads are topped with a perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken breasts. Brunch options are terrific; my husband loved his sausage and biscuits. Sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients - freshly baked bread, crisp lettuce and flavorful proteins. Kids meals options are great to accommodate picky eaters to more healthy minded families. Service is friendly and professional. We had a lovely conversation with our server, a young Egyptian-American who made us feel comfortable and made our lunch an enjoyable experience. After dining at Pinstripes and Yardhouse with mixed experiences, I can firmly say that Bazille is the best lunch option in terms of quality, value and service.“

“Located on the rooftop of the Residence Inn hotel in south Norwalk, small menu, good bites and inexpensive. Cocktails were very good, consistent and potent, our server Jesus was on top of everything, very attentive and nice, they had an awesome DJ playing Latin music, the crowd was enjoying the music, dancing and drinking. The space is somewhat small, and you have to take the elevator down to the bathrooms. Get there early if you want to grab a table. I definitely would recommend it.“
