Great food! I got the Mahi Mahi and it was definitely fresh tasting! The service was good. It was a little rainy and they had all the windows shut which made it kind of stuffy… I think they realized that it was warm and did open a window to let the breeze through
This is a late review. I ate at the Crab Trap on 04-27-2019. This place is very interesting. I had the Crab Cake appetizer and the Bairdi Crab legs. They were delicious! I plan to eat here any time I visit Destin.

Came here on my Honeymoon and it really set the bar high for the rest of our vacation. We ended up going back here 3-4 times the week we were in Florida - it was THAT good! Their fresh oysters are what had us coming, but the blue crab claws and peel & eat shrimp were fantastic as well. It’s been 2 years and we still dream about having fresh oysters in the south, but more specifically from the Crab Trap.
