“We’ve been frequenting Rio for years and have always had very friendly, prompt, efficient, service. The food is the best Mexican we’ve gotten anywhere and the prices are good. Family friendly place to take your family and large groups, as well. Even when it is a busy day and time, you know you can go there and will be seated and served in a very timely manner.“

“While passing through on business we stopped in to El Mexicano, if you are going to places by how they look you will pass this one up. I can say that we thought twice but being a hole in the wall guy we gave it a shot. The staff was super friendly and everyone that helped us spoke perfect english. We got chips and salsa right off the bat and the salsa was very tasty. I ordered the gordita's and a quesadilla. I got 3 seperate meats in the gordita's, the shells were house made, fresh, hot, crispy and delicious. The quesadilla was bigger than most places, flavorful and I would have like to have a little more cheese in it but thats just me being picky. My friend had the tacos, the shells were also fresh and flavorful. If you pass by this little gem then you are definitely missing out!“

“The restaurant was nice and clean. Food did not take long to receive. The waitress was stand offish and seemed more concerned with charging her phone than taking my order. Other than the unprofessional waitress, the food, speed of the food to the customer and the price was pretty good. (This was 5-4-2024, Around 2:30PM)“

“A friend took me here about a month ago, and at first it was hard to spot. It is in the basement of a gas station, which might deter some from eating there, but it is SO worth it! The food is authentic and I have not found anything else like it in this area!“

“The food was pretty good. I was seated immediately with no wait. The waitress was also very sweet and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. The fresh guacamole was really good. I wish they offered a half portion. It was a little pricey for the amount of food you get but it was still good. Would definitely eat here again“
