“The workers here are very personable even during morning rush at 7:00. A.m.! They also make really good avocado toast and blended my ice matcha latte perfectly. Most places I go leave giant clumps of matcha powder at the bottom of the cup but this was heaven? ”

“Pub 72 is truly a hidden gem in the area.Great neighborhood place with fantastic food and people. The owner, Michael, and his family have been in the hospitality business in the Chicagoland area for years and each of their establishments is truly the standard of what a neighborhood spot should be. You always know you’re getting a great meal. But Pub 72 is special because its bbq is exceptional. The dining area has also recently been elevated as a new addition has been made to the bar giving a relaxing spacious area for multiple large parties. I highly recommend you stop in, Michael will make you feel like family, and you may even get to beat him at darts.”

“First time at the Pizza Pushers, ordered takeout. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice clean cozy dining area. Ordered a sausage pizza and a Wild Hog. The pizza was delicious and could tell made with fresh, quality ingredients. For a guy that does Friday night date night every week in my opinion I got lots of good food for the price. I think next time I’ll eat there and enjoy a beer with my pizza.”

“What an awesome place. I had the most delicious coffee drink ever, a Creme Brulee Latte. They actually torch the sugar topping just like a fancy restaurant. Cool vibe and the monkey bread and pastries are also delicious.”

“Great googly moogly I ordered the salmon burrito with mango and crab meat and oh boy was it delicious. My taste buds were getting rizzed on hard and I was all for that relationship. For a side I got the seaweed salad. It was simple but very flavorful. I would highly recommend pokebowl. Speaking of poke there is poke stop there too which is noice.”

“I went to Summer Moon Coffee this morning and got a Mocha Milk Latte. It was absolutely delicious. They also gave my dog a pup cup (with a treat!) that he loved. Customer service was very good. The atypical offering of ice cream flavors will not disappoint either! I placed an order for custom cookies and communication along the way was outstanding. We were really happy with them. I recommend coming here if you want to do some work while drinking coffee and listening to some music. They play very chill music as well ! Service was great, the barista was helpful. “What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.”

“Five stars all around for this wonderful restaurant! As first time diners we weren't sure what to expect as all dishes are gluten-free, however every dish was delicious and satisfying. Our party started with 2 very tasty appetizers of Mussels and Cheese Curds. We then enjoyed the House and Seasonal Salads, both having a wonderful honey mustard vinaigrette. For an added touch, the Seasonal Salad was topped with goat cheese. I can't say enough about our entrees. Not only were the presentations well done, all tasted as wonderful as they looked! The Skate Wing with Snap Peas was a mild white meat fish, with caper brown butter sauce. The Short Rib was perfectly done and topped with brown sugar glaze. The Hanger Steak, ordered medium rare, had a roasted peppered chutney, charred on the outside, and two roasted whipped sweet potatoes. Our meal was topped off with the Julian's Frozen Custard dessert and espresso. The restaurant itself is somewhat small, with a cozy and charming feel to it so reservations are a must! Our service thruout the evening was exceptional so kudos to the attentive staff. A final note there is additional parking across the street so take advantage when the main lot is full. Will definitely be dining here again!”

“Really happy I ran into your food truck at Home Depot the other day. Your take on homestyle pinoy food is legit. Had the super combo platter to try most of what you had to offer that day and was not disappointed. Hard to get quality home cooked Pinoy food that is not your own. Wasn't overly greasy, great flavor profiles, and hit the spot on home cooked for sure. I devoured my plate...lol. I'm new to the McHenry area and was disappointed that the Asian cuisine offerings was lacking from were I moved from... but looks like yall hover the area and will be back for my Pinoy food fix.”

“Had an Asiago, sun dried tomato, rosemary scone from Konrads today. I was a bit on the fence about ordering it since they were out of most everything (late in the day before Easter) , and there were a bunch of only this flavor left. Got one anyway. Omg it was BOMB!!! Sooo good, so flavorful I loved it. Highly recommend this savory scone in particular, although, all of their scones are great. Heavenly. A+++”

“My wife can't wait for the weather to get warm. She always suggests we visit Milk House weekly. It is about 20 minutes by motorcycle and a very pleasant ride. We have tried all of the exotic ice creams and love them all. They also have a taster which gives you several options at once. The place started small but keeps getting more fans. If you want the best ice cream ever give it a try. Order 1 scoop on waffle cone they are made fresh. ( scoops are huge).”

“I love coming in for celiac friendly treats. Picked up 11 lemon cookies for a friends bday. It was $40 unfortunately I won’t can’t afford that all the time. Why does gluten free items have to be so expensive? Also could use a bit more lemon for that price. Still 5 ⭐️ but I wanted to share a couple suggestions.”

“Bang Bang Ahrimp was absolutely outstanding. Then followed by filet and lobster and Atlantic Salmon - all big winners. The staff is very polite and friendly. We can't say enough. This was out 2nd visit and both were wonderful experiences with great food.”
