“05/11/24--- Been to Diver Down about five times since my first review that is below. They never disappoint. Service is always good, the staff is very friendly and the food delicious. I always have their Coconut Shrimp. The Pina colada sauce is amazing.Our first time stopping in at Diver Down.It has been on our list of places to try. We were very impressed with the service and the food. Our waitress Chelsea was a delight, very friendly personality, and courteous. Our order was taken and promptly served. We had the coconut shrimp with pina-colada sauce, salad with poppyseed dressing and fries. The salad was probably one of the best we've had from a restaurant. Everything was fresh and crisp, great serving size. The poppyseed dressing had a great flavor, not to sweet. The coconut shrimp was cooked perfectly, great flavor, paired with the pina-colada sauce was a bonus. The fries were cooked perfectly.The prices very reasonable. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area.Went back today May 21, 2023I had the exact same meal with the exact same review. Everything is fresh made. “The Food I ate here was surprisingly AMAZING during Shrimp Festival. Texas toast buttered and toasted to perfection with a HUGE hamburger...add an egg...and some really great mildy spicy sauce...that burger was ATE FAST! SO GOOD!Having said that...the younger girl at the bar was nearly impossible to get her attention to even help me and there was only 4 people at the barplus...could not give a tip to the new lady who came on shift because it was SPRUNG ON ME while being handed the food that THEY ONLY TAKE CASH and luckily had just enough. Its 2023...The square app ya know...anyways BLOWN AWAY HOW GOOD LUCKY LARRY BURGER WAS...only place Ill eat in golconda Illinois. Here is a pic of the menu plus a random hot lady from the festival.“

“Great local wine selection! And they have lots of local beer options too. The owners are so helpful & nice (and masked!). Tony, one of the owners, suggested a great wine bottle for us and we even bought one to go! Would highly recommend stopping in (or even staying with them!) if you’re in the area.“

“Prime Rib is the best anywhere, awesome. Cobb salad, oh my, is amazing. Everything, everything there is awesome. Plenty of space, extremely friendly staff. The best!“
