Talk about pizza... the ingredients are fresh and plentiful, cheese just the right texture and amount, crust crispy and satisfying so much so that you can eat 2 (maybe 3 pieces ) and not feel STUFFED! Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is nostalgically comfortable. Our 11 month grandbaebae was happily acknowledged by all waitstaff though they were busily weaving thru the tables with their pizza pies and libations. They offered to take a picture of our group of 6 afterwards, as we were celebrating our son's birthday. On our return home, realizing an item wrapped in a napkin, was left behind and most likely tossed, I called and the owner (Jerry O.) offered to look thru the waste and by the time I returned to the restaurant, seeing him with a smile on his face, I knew he had found it !! That's going the extra mile... hurray to Uncle Jerry and his crew !!“

“The hostess was pleasant, but generic "your table is being cleaned now" (No it wasn't. It is a small, single dining room. There were no tables being cleaned) and we stood 10 minutes waiting for our reservation. But, the waitress was bubbly, positive and energetic. Food was a out of the ordinary and good. A bit pricey, but ok. One negative thing is the layout of the building. Only one restroom in the back of the place, meaning the lively bar patrons had to travel past every single diner to use the facilities. A bit of a turn off. But overall, a nice date night out.“

“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.“

Recognizing the complexity of flavors within that burger, we had him continue to help, as he suggested the perfect side to pair with each burger. The entire meal was superb. “Fun tiki like atmosphere inside, but you don’t really get good views of the water from inside restaurant. I got the bbq bacon burger and it was great! The fries were a seasoned kind, they were good but not my fave. The mister got the all you eat fish fry. They bring out two fried cod pieces at a time. The beer battered fish was great and so was tartar sauce, especially the spicy one was fantastic! Only complaint is we waited awhile for another serving of fish - but when it came out it was hot and fresh! We asked for side of blue cheese and some hot sauce - be aware they charge you for 75 cent for every sauce without letting you know.“

“I went there for the first time and the server was super sweet. I don't remember her name. But she was the best didn't come up to us non stop and was a doll to my toddler. So shout out to whoever was the server around 10am on 4/21 right by the tree. I had the benedict Italiano and it was sooooo good! Seriously that benedict was a 10/10.“

“It's hard to find Mexican restaurants to get absolutely everything right, this is the one. Rice and beans were great, Pollo a la Mexicana was the perfect amount of taste and spiciness. The cheese stretches multiple feet into the air like it was real fresh cheese melted to perfection. I can't recommend this place enough. The building is very cute and the staff is super nice.“

“We had a nice time sitting outside on the patio at South Burlington, since Arlington Heights doesn't have a patio. It was my birthday meal, so I enjoyed eating a cheese plate and calamari as my entrée appetizers, and my parents enjoyed their food closely as well. My dad did not like the mahi-mahi, as it was overcooked. However, the dessert was very tasty, and the server was doing a great job, running around being the only person in that section. She was very pleasant as well. I think that there needs to be more than one server on the patio.“

“I ordered catering from Eggville Cafe a friend of mine said their catering was amazing and I had a family gathering coming up I had to try it out! Everything was perfectly cooked they had so many different options to choose from I ordered the kebabs and a side salad, some potatoes some meatballs and a couple other things that they threw in everything tasted amazing. It was delicious and was reasonably priced if you were looking for catering for any event like a graduation coming up or birthday or family gatherings I definitely highly recommend them they were amazing and they got everything I wanted and more!!“
