“I have been eating at Golden Buddha in Evansville for many years as I used to live in the area. I still go back when I am in the area as the food and atmosphere is excellent. I recently had pork with Chinese vegetables, egg drop soup, an egg roll, and crab rangoon. All of the food was hot and served quickly. The egg roll was not greasy, crab rangoon was the best I've had, soup had bits of egg and was served with crunchy noodle strips. The main dish was plentiful with lots of vegetables and pork. It was so much that I had food to take home. Staff is always friendly, smiling, and efficient. Highly recommend for others to try their food as it is superb!“

“Try to eat her once a month. My wife and I love this place. Service is excellent and the decor is nice ! The food quality is excellent , and flavors are strong. We get the royal king dinner that comes with the combo sampler , soup and salad, entree and dessert. Highly recommend the crispy honey shrimp, General Tso extra hot, orange chicken , and honey walnut shrimp. The soups are also great.“

“Good food. I loved the Crab Rangoons. Not my favorite overall as far as flavor of food but still good and the prices are lower than other choices in the area. Next time I will ask for extra Teriyaki sauce for my Teriyaki Chicken. I will go back.Parking: Parking is free but very limited. They offer a 10% discount if you order online and pick up. I'm guessing that's to get parking freed up more quickly.“

“I am surprised with the quality of the food. I am a buffet connoisseur and visit buffet restaurants all over the country. Good variety and taste. Came at 4:00pm and they charged me $13.99 for a quality buffet. The waitress gave good service. The Wash Closet was clean. Very satisfied.“

“This was the BEST food I have had here. I'm in town on business and this food was fast, cheap, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! I wish I could take them home to NY with me. I called and the food was ready within 10 minutes, all of this was only $19 after taxes, and the staff was very kind. Highly recommend“

“We grabbed buffet takeout a couple days ago, it was very affordable, a large 32oz container of egg drop soup only cost 4$.They had a huge variety, including a lot of things that I’ve never seen at a Chinese buffet before like several types of bao buns. Everything I got tasted great, the coconut shrimp was definitely my favorite.“

“The food is always terrific. My favorite is either the General Tso's Chicken or the sweet and sour pork with their very good dipping sauce. But I also like the different lomein noodles with either roast pork or chicken and the sides like the egg rolls or crab Rangoon are really good. My wife loves their mixed vegetables with shrimp as well as the egg drop soup while I enjoy the Wonton soup. The food is always good and they never disappoint on the quality.Parking: Tons of empty spaces in the parking lot but if you're going inside to pick up a takeout order there's plenty of open curbside space for a quick in and out.“

“I door dashed takeout express for the first time this evening. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with lo mein and some egg drop soup. The sweet and sour soup was like any other chicken in taste and nice and crispy. The lo mein was also good but a little on the greasy side. The egg drop soup came scorching hot (at least fresh), it was average, nothing great like Ma T’s here in town, but a good sized portion. The service was also quick and my food was here in less than 30 mins which was nice. Overall, it’s good takeout, nothing spectacular but far from the worst I’ve had.“

“Great little find. Hidden in the corner of the Asian market. There only a few selections, but in the 2 times we've been there, we tried several, and all weee good. If you're jonesing for some pho or pad Thai, it's worth a try.“

“Personal Crab Rangoon Rating: 9/10Perfect crunch, perfect filling to dough ratio! The filling on this one is also not too sweet but not overwhelmingly savory, it's just perfect to me. I think sometimes other places also make the filling a little too liquid-y but not this place! I will say though, they don't have that traditional rangoon shape, but honestly I don't mind with how good they taste, it's completely fine if they're a little wonky in my opinion. You get 6 crab rangoons for only $3.15! Best deal in town if you ask me~ I highly recommend you try this place out at least once, you'll be sad to miss out on such a life changing crab experience! Check my other reviews for more crab rangoon recommendations~!“

“Fresh food, always. Each seat has their own hotplate (supervised from the kitchen so you don't hurt yourself) and with an all you can eat meal, you get broth and a wide variety of proteins, veggies and fish. Want octopus? They got it. Lamb? Right there. They also have some damn good boba teas to pick from. It's a small restaurant with a small staff who speak English as a second language. It is my personal request that you're patient with any of the very small misunderstandings that may occur. You'll find yourself happier and fuller that way!“

“"Memories on a Platter: A Tribute to Gracie's Restaurant"As I sit down to recount the chapters of my life, there's one place that stands as a beacon of warmth, flavors, and cherished memories—Gracie's Restaurant. Nestled in the heart of our town, it was more than just a place to dine; it was a sanctuary where culinary delights intertwined with the magic of growing up.Every week, without fail, my family and I would make our pilgrimage to Gracie's. The anticipation would build as we approached the entrance, where the serene beauty of the koi fish pond greeted us. Those majestic creatures gliding gracefully beneath the surface seemed to whisper tales of time gone by.One of the most enchanting aspects of those visits was Gracie herself. With a smile that could light up even the gloomiest of days, she would welcome us with open arms. As a child, I was captivated by her generosity, especially when she handed me fish treats to feed the koi. Little did I know then that this simple act would become a cherished tradition, one that I would witness continue years later as her daughter guided a new generation of diners. The culinary delights served at Gracie's were nothing short of extraordinary. From the crispy corn nuggets to the delicate crab Rangoon, each dish was a testament to the passion and skill of the chefs. And oh, the sauces—carefully crafted masterpieces that danced on the palate and left an indelible mark on the taste buds. But it wasn't just the food that made Gracie's so special; it was the people. Gracie and her family were more than just restaurateurs; they were guardians of happiness, architects of joy, and creators of lasting memories. Their kindness knew no bounds, and their warmth enveloped every diner who walked through the door.As I grew older, life took me on different paths, but the memories of Gracie's remained etched in my heart. So, when I returned as an adult, it felt like stepping back in time—a familiar embrace that welcomed me home. The sight of Gracie and her family, still radiating that same warmth and hospitality, brought tears of joy to my eyes. And then, there were the fortune cookies—those tiny, paper-wrapped treasures that held the promise of destiny within. As a child, I would eagerly crack one open, savoring the excitement of unraveling its message. To experience that ritual once more, surrounded by the familiar sights and sounds of Gracie's, was nothing short of magical. To Gracie and her family, I extend my deepest gratitude. Thank you for creating a haven where memories were woven into every dish, where kindness flowed as freely as the sauces, and where the spirit of generosity knew no bounds. You have left an indelible mark on my heart, and for that, I am forever grateful.“
