I hit the drive-thru for lunch at a fast food place that was hands down the fastest, most well-oiled machine in town.... before the pandemic. They've gone downhill ever since. I was first in line when they opened, and I got my food 23 minutes later. I checked my order, and it wasn't right; had to go inside anyway. All told, 30 minutes for a burger and fries. Worst part of my situation today was this place was fully staffed. I went inside and saw all those workers and was like, "Why'd I wait half an hour for my lunch??". manager didn't seem to care nor did the kid staff. if this is how things are going to be, fast food and restaurants will be a thing of the past.
