“The service was above average by far! The food overall was excellent however the brisket was not well prepared. Flavor was good, just what you would expect from smoked meat. However the cut of the brisket was out of the ordinary and not in a good way. It was sliced with the grain of the meat akin to bacon. This lead to a tough, hard to chew smoked jerky experience. Everything else we ordered was stellar! Highly recommend the Ida Fry with pulled pork, absolutely amazing!”

“I grew up in Cincinnati, and we had a brick and mortar Godfathers, and I loved it. It closed down and was saddened by it. I grew up thinking that I wouldn't ever be able to taste that buttery crust only the way they did it ever again. I moved to Mt Vernon, Indiana, and found out that there was one in one of the local gas stations. I was very skeptical about going there until I just said, "Well, the only thing that could happen is that it's not how I remembered." Much to my surprise, it still tasted the exact same as I remembered. The nostalgia I felt in the first bite! It took me right back to being a kid again, only being able to eat just half a slice because of how my dad used to order the pizzas. The guy that works at the particular location, his name is Dre and is awesome!! “My husband & I stopped there on the way to Evansville. He got cookies & I got a Diet Coke. The cookies were fresh & the Diet Coke was amazing. McDonalds are famous for their Diet Coke.? The dining room was clean. The workers were all friendly.Parking: The parking lot is large enough but when you are ready to leave you have to back into the area where cars are lining up for the drive thru which is difficult to see if a large large vehicle is parked beside you.Kid-friendliness: It's McDonald's, home of the Happy Meal, what more needs to be said.Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair accessibility is very well thought out.”
