“This is bar far the best when it comes to quality and freshness with thier buffet. Options are only an aisle, but I prefer quality over quantity. It is about 30$ a person with fountain drink, but I understand why. Also, ask for their ginger ice cream!“

“I don't know what the bad reviews and low scores are because I've eaten there many times, and the food is tasty, the service is great, it's clean and has lovely decor and the prices are good. I will continue to go back time and time again. For someone who really looks at reviews and judges places by the scores, it's sad when a place that is great has such low scores.“

“I am SO excited to have found Jindu. I was sad when my sushi restaurant of 20 years shut down and nothing else in the area was nearly as good. Tonight we decided to try Jindu and we couldn't be happier. The manager was so helpful and sweet, my sushi dish was beautiful as you can see, and my husband was actually filled up on his General Tso Chicken. This is my new go to restaurant for sushi!“

“If you want standard American Chinese food then order off the lunch special menu. If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu. They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. Szechuan string beans are also really good.“

“I'm very happy to have an authentic Sichuan place in my area! Everything that I've ever had here is delicious! My go-to item here is the "Spicy Cumin Lamb Burger." It's a common street food in Sichuan province in China, and it's not actually a burger. It's more of a shaved steak, except it's lamb (picture a Philly cheesesteak made of lamb, minus the cheese). The bun is nice and fluffy (it's hard to describe, it's a homemade bun that has the form factor of an English muffin, but without the density of an English muffin) and delicious. My other go-to item here is the Spicy lamb hand pulled noodles (dry). This dish is as authentic as it gets! I wish it were spicier, but it's still very delicious. The other thing I've tried that I've really liked is the Dry Hot Pot Fish Fillets. It's delightfully spicy and has lots of Sichuan peppercorn in it!“

“Came in half hour before closing and they were nice enough to still seat us. Inside is very modern, clean and spacious. There is a bar code at the corner of the table, you scan for the menu, order and pay right on your phone when you're done. The owner was very friendly and kind. We ordered the beef noodles soup, Taiwanese fried chicken (flavorful and not too greasy like some others), braised pork over rice (very large order and the braised pork was very tender and good amount of sauce), and the lamb skewers. Everything was delicious and decent sharing portions so you can order a bunch of things to try. There are a lot of items we still want to try so we will be back soon.“

“Tried take out this week from this spot: Sauteed Chicken W Long Horn Pepper In Scallion Pancake Roll - highly recommend Mini Juicy Buns W Pork(6) - very tasty Mala Spicy Beef - good - a lot of beef, prepare. Overall, very tasty items all around. I liked the mini pork buns and the scallion pancake rolls the most, but all probably worth a try based on experience with what I had.“

“My new Waltham Chinese takeout after finding so much bland Chinese to go food out there. And heat doesn't fix blandness. Especially noticeable with beef it seems. That was not the problem here as the Kung Pao beef had plenty of flavor and the sauce was just right -- not the typical flavorless, translucent, starchy goo. I shall return for more dishes and reviews. It's quite nice inside if you decide to eat here. One star off for not telling me there was no asparagus that day until after I walked back 15 min later to pick it up. (Green beans quickly fixed things as I shifted to the Kung Pao.)“

“The spicy hot oil hand pulled noodles are my favorite. They are absolutely amazing and I’ve tried them at many different restaurants and these are my favorite. The noodles are chewy and fresh and it’s spicy but not too spicy and so flavorful. Their cumin lamb sandwiches, dumplings, and noodles with soy sauce and pickled cucumber (N18 on the menu) were also amazing“

I would definitely highly recommend this spot for a nice downtime. Great to have friend hangout times, for really anything. The new food additions are really good! Service is awesome, very kind people. Great choice of music too! They have piano and guitar!!!!Kid-friendliness: My sister loves it here, she is 11! Awesome place for family and friends!“

“Service was great and the food came out fast. We got the fried Peking ravioli (lmao, did not know this was a Boston thing), beef chow foon, and beef yaki udon. The raviolis were quite dough-y and the beef in both dishes were cooked too chewy, but otherwise the dishes were just fine. The table next to us shared that they really liked their roast duck dish and angel hair noodles dish.“

“We love it here. The food is so authentic and spicy. It takes your tastebuds to a whole new place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It’s truly a gem here, and the authentic nature here makes you appreciate their culture. Also, the Mai Tai is wonderful and the price is reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. The restaurant is huge, and we only had to wait once on Chinese New Year. We get the Spicy Jumbo Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Picked Radish and the Smoked Pork with green pepper. You must give this place a try if you keep an open mind, and truly want authentic cuisine. It’s simply the best! Thank you.“

“So good. Like going into Chinatown but with parking and good service ?2024 Update: This restaurant has been under new management (I believe it was sold to the previous owners god children) for a while now. Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. It's so fun to watch old dishes that I loved get even better (ex. 3 cup tofu eggplant now has a smokey aspect that I didn't know I was missing) and to see the new owners make their mark. Thanks for bringing your passion, we are so proud of you and I am sure your god parents are too!“

“Went here with a bunch of family members and we had 2 tables at the Hibachi. We started of with Sushi, got the Patriots roll and the Spicy bad girl roll, if you like Jalapenos than I recommend the spicy one. The chef we had was entertaining which always makes the experience good, we had a mixture of chicken, steak and salmon. They give large portions, the hibachi comes with rice and noodles along with vegetables and some shrimp. If you want to try good Hibachi this is a good one to try, As for drinks they were okay“

“Most authentic Chinese food I have had in this region. Absolutely love the Szechuan spicy fish fillet soup with cabbage. Such tender flounder and the taste is exquisite over rice. The pork and chive dumplings are also very good as well as the beef with scallions. Mapo tofu is also served here, but for my taste, the sauce can be a little thick, but still very flavorful when served over rice. If you are looking for an authentic Chinese food experience, Aries Noodle and Dumpling is the best place to go in Waltham.“

“Best lunch special I have found in the area. $10 for vegetables and chicken with a side of pork fried rice, hot and sour soup and an egg roll. Chicken and vegetables were tender-crisp instead of soggy, and everything was delicious! Friendly staff as well.“

“Utterly delicious, good portions, affordable, speedy and accurate service and decently friendly.I got the Mushu Chicken, seaweed salad, and edamame. Perfect all around. The tea was delicious too.The music is calm and peaceful, and even though there were a good number of people, and the phone was ringing off the hook with takeout orders, people spoke with lower voices and it felt like a calm place.I would definitely be back!“

“We went to their Burlington location on a Saturday for their weekend buffet. It was $26.95 per person (adults), ages 5-10 are $14.95. Under 5 is free. The building is very modern looking inside out, and is very clean and comfortable. There is ample parking (free) next to the building. There are traditional tables, seats at the bar, and elevated seating tables. They open at 11:30am on Saturdays and we arrived 15 minutes prior and there was already a line! 90% of the people in line are asian, so this place must be good! There is one small room where they keep all of their buffet offerings. There is a large center island housing all of their hot foods, including steamed options like shumais and other dumpling/dimsum varieties and things like fried rice. Towards the right wall is their desert offerings, featuring some fruit and even chicken feet. On the left wall is their sushi stuff. All are included in the buffet. Your price of admission includes a soup, for which the waiter will ask if you want hot and sour, wonton or miso soup. The soup was mid. Service is really good. The staff are friendly and come around to pick up dirty plates as needed. I saw some helping tables take pictures. When its time to pay, they bring the credit card machine to you and our waitress looked away when it was time for me to select the tip. The sushi was okay and respectable. I don't eat it, but the family ate it and said it was ok. I skipped the fruit. The hot bar is where its at. There is really good options there when I went. The coconut shrimp was by far the best! Its exactly like walnut shrimp from chinese restaurants. There was general or orange chicken which was decent. Others include stir fried string beans, Beef and veggies, crab, salt and pepper frog legs, mussels, pan fried raviolis, sesame balls, spring rolls, cocktail shrimp, edamame, grapes, oranges, mini cakes and more. The food was fresh (obviously since we just got there) and the staff did their best to replenish their food. There is a CONSTANT line, due to the small buffet room but very large dining room. Lots of people came out with 2 plates of food per person as the wait is very long and the food looks so delicious. Most of the food was pretty good and I would say is better than most other asian buffets I've had. I would recommend Feng Shui for GOOD asian buffet food. I would put it in a similar tier as Minado (costs more, but way more food offerings) and Spring Shabu (cost less, hot pot buffet). Pricing for the offerings here at Feng Shui was very reasonable. It would be great if they had a larger buffet room or separated out their offers into different parts of the restaurant. The line gets intimidating fast. Unfortunately for our family of 4, we barely ate half of our money's worth. Go with an empty stomach!“

“Been living in a flyover state & have not been able to find even passable Polynesian style Chinese food. This was the 2nd most recommended place for me to try in the area. Since it was right on my route & right on the road I grew up on 40+ years ago, I decided to give it a shot. Placed the order on a Friday around 5:30pm, got the following: EGG ROLL CRAB RANGOON BEEF LO MEIN ORANGE FLAVORED BEEF GENERAL GAU CHICKEN Everything was very good to excellent! The ORANGE FLAVORED BEEF was about the best I've ever had from a take out joint. I think they said 30 minutes & I got there in 35-40 & it was actually ready. Next time I'm out that way, I will definitely stop here again! Posted a new menu, 11/2023“

“From the moment you step inside, you're reminded of the old school American Chinese restaurant, where it's very casual, place for locals to gather and hang out, eat and drink Mai tais. There aren't many of these spots around, so very happy there is one locally and it hits the spot. The owner is very friendly and everyone there seems to know her and she knew their names. This is a no frill place, hole in the wall, no windows. We got an appetizer combo, chicken wings, beef Chow mein (not to be confused with lo mein or stir fried noodles) and sweet and Sour pork (this is not the typical current Chinese restaurant sweet and Sour pork in bright red sauce. This is chicken fingers battered pork with sauce drizzled over). Everything tasted good and brought back childhood memories.“

“I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“

“The buffet is killer. It's a lunch buffet. Lots and lots of choices. Somewhat, I think, or authentic Chinese choices as well. It was packed when we got there and food was still fresh and hot. I will add, it's two dollars cheaper here than it is in the Burlington restaurant. What gives with that?“

“Quick service, but they have you use the iPads to order food - which apparently charges $0.99 to order via that specific app. I realized that when I went back to the counter to grab a drink. The house noodle was really good, but slightly salty.Wish they had more on their menu to try though.“

“My family has been going here for a long time. There have been times when dishes weren’t as good as we expected them to be, but for the most part their food is good.My favorite dishes are the vegetarian leek pie (it’s not really leek, it’s a vegetable called 韭菜, “chinese chives”), any dumplings, smoked taiwanese-style duck, moo shi, bean curd with green mustard, chinese squash with nagaimo, and pork and pickled napa hotpot.I like their eggplant with pork or basil, but sometimes there’s way too much oil (the eggplant will be swimming in oil soup). I also prefer my beef scallion pancake rolls with scallion inside, not leek, so I would keep that in mind if that’s a dish you order at other restaurants. Anyway, I recommend ordering different dishes to see what you like! Their menu is quite extensive.“

“The food was great but the service and atmosphere is seriously lacking. We went on Fridays nights at dinner time twice and they clearly are doing to much takeout business to care about their dinner in guests. I won't return for dine in unless it's to try the lunch specials.“
