“Best Don Katsu (pork cutlet) place I've ever been in Boston! So warm and crispy, with delicious sauce, hearty portion, and quick serving. Price is budget-friendly (considering that it's Boston) relative to the huge pork cutlet, salad, miso soup, and rice that all comes in one. Great for hungry students who need heartwarming meal. :) The server lady was nice and friendly, and the restaurant is small, but they also have tables outside. Uber eats delivery and lunch specials are available as well, so would definitely recommend to others as well as try it again myself next time.“

“It’s a darker curry (kind of sauce-like?) but the katsu was yummy and crispy and warm and tasty ?. The pieces were cut more bitesized but they do the job nonetheless. The cabbage was nice (crunchy). Portion sizes may not be accurate to the display case but the medium was filling enough. There is ample seating in the food court. Efficient service?. Also you order at a single kiosk for both ramen and curry shops.“

“Delighted to score a last-minute reservation (for 5:15 on a Tuesday) at this new, and highly-touted restaurant. It absolutely lived up to the hype. This is upscale takes on food from the African Diaspora; and every bite was delicious. They have many vegetarian options (my partner and I shared amazingly good jackfruit sliders as an appetizer and he was shocked to learn they didn't contain chicken). Cocktails are creative and really tasty. We loved the short rib (a special of the night) and the trout. I dine out a lot, and can't tell you how nice it was to have a menu that is inventive for the sake of introducing diners to a new type of cuisine and new tastes. I appreciate the fact that it's in Dorchester, which is a different neighborhood for most foodies, and the interior is light and elegant. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. I'd go again in a heartbeat.“

“We really loved the food at Stillwater! Started with the biscuits and homemade cheez-its, which were both absolutely fantastic. I had the red beans & rice as my main and the person I was with enjoyed the dumplings- both were great choices. The pb&j crème brûlée was a favorite- wished there was a bit more jam but it was delicious nonetheless. Service was less than stellar though- lack of water refills and it took an incredibly long time to get the check. Overall we had a great time!“

“With Arms Wide Open, I embraced the sweet indulgence that is Sloane's! This dessert haven is a Higher Power, elevating the art of sweets to new heights. The Funfetti Cake is a With Arms Wide Open moment - a masterpiece of moist vanilla, swirled with a rainbow of sprinkles, and topped with a creamy frosting that will leave you Breathless. And don't even get me started on the Homemade Snickers Bars - a One Last Breath of pure bliss! Crunchy peanuts, gooey caramel, and rich chocolate come together in perfect harmony, like Scott Stapp's powerful vocals soaring through a soulful ballad. In short, Sloane's is a Must-See, a culinary Creed-ential that will leave you screaming "What's This Life For" if you don't try it! So, go ahead, indulge in these sinful treats, and let the sweetness wash over you like a gentle Rain."“

“first time here today, ordered online for takeout and decided on their lava egg yolk french toast with sauce on the side, spam bolo bao, curry fish balls, and house made soy milk cold. everything was so delicious! the lava egg yolk french toast was sweet, crunchy, and dry (they forgot to add in my sauce on the side) so i didn’t really get to enjoy the whole thing as is. i would get it again because it was tasty! the spam bolo has to be my favorite, perfect balance of sweet and salty. it’s light too, i could eat two myself ? curry fish balls were also good but not worth $5 for 4 balls, wouldn’t get it again because of the high price and low quantity. house soy milk is sooo good! goes great with the food. look forward to trying out the rest of their menu!“

“Jackson’s Kitchen has been a go to spot for us for years. I love that we can get a salmon dinner with rice pilaf and veggies or an awesome sub or burger. The diverse menu has something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the meatballs or fish tacos either. I end up getting a few dishes- too many good choices.“

“Party of 3. Ordered: - garlic and parm chicken tenders appetizer - steak tip entree w/mashed and broccoli - chicken parm with angel hair pasta - Bbq burger w/fries - 1 cocktail, 1 beer and a soda No complaints! Atmosphere was trendy and stylish. The cocktail ordered was unique so the bartender personally came over (we were at a table on the dining side furthest from the bar area) to ensure he would make the cocktail correctly and to customer preference. The chicken tenders are huge! They are breaded to remain very crisp despite the chosen flavored sauce placed over them. The meals were equally exceptional! Steak tips were cooked to order (med) while still being seared on the sides to provide some of that grill style flavor! We’ll certainly be back!“

“Just had the best breakfast burrito FOR LUNCH and the nicest service ever. Hope you find a new Milton location once your lease is up at the Fruit Center building because not having you in town would be a big loss. P.S. Maple biscuit and basil lemonade were AMAZING.“

“In the half buried floor of a discrete building in Downtown, behind a closed door, you can find the Lucky's Lounge. Don't hesitate to step inside. Red walls, loud music and club couches complete the atmosphere. Drinks are alright, especially the cocktails. Definitely the bar you want to be if you're looking for an animated place in the middle of the week !“

“I am a fan of their res ( stew beef) , habichuela (beans) and arroz (rice ) ? they use to give good portions but things have changed , it’s 2022 now and prices are up but it’s worth it still . It ain’t that expensive. It’s enough to feed two if your ordering a plate for $18“

“I don’t know why I don’t hear more of my friends talking about this as a top brunch place…perfect combo of modern/chic diner vibes and AMAZING food. The fact that their menu is purely vegetarian is not a loss even for the omnivores and carnivores among us. You’re not really missing anything! Especially with the incredible ways they cook and top their eggs…and their home fries are actually very tastefully seasoned!!Vegetarian options: Amazing selection of options!“
