“We have been stopping here for breakfast a few times a month. The food is always very good, as are the prices. The owner & staff are friendly. But it goes beyond the food being good.Last visit after working a 12.5 hour shift, we finished our breakfast and when we were ready to leave found that the car would not start. While calling AAA the owner’s son and two customers came out to see if everything was ok & ask if they could help. They got us started. In a time when it’s hard to find a single person willing to go out of their way to help you we had three. Three people that we only know to say hi to when we see them in the restaurant. We do not even know their names. This is Clinton”s Sunshine Cafe. Not just great food and prices but friendly people that are willing to help you. People that make you feel welcome.I would highly recommend this place.“

“The steak tips bomb sub was amazing, one of the best I've had, skip the sweet potato fries though they were thin and disappointing, the regular fries my wife had were better. She ordered a chicken wrap she liked very much and we shared a basket of delicious fried pickles. The bartender who also served us, though not friendliest was nice enough and attentive (more important) getting our drinks and orders out in a good time even though she was by herself with maybe half a dozen people at the bar itself and another group of customers at a different booth. Overall great experience, will def return for another steak tips bomb!“

“Birthday celebration at Brady’s. Chef brought out a 4 week aged Tomahawk steak for the birthday boy. Brian took excellent care of us and made most of our meal/wine decisions, which I appreciated. The best dessert - toffee top pudding. We will be planning our next event here“

“The staff at Hillside Grill was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely come back to try more meals here when in the area. This visit I had a steak sandwich with onions and peppers. The flavor was great, but the meat did have sections of tendons which was fairly upsetting.“

“We have been going to J's over the years and the food is always exceptional. My family went to J's for Mother's Day and I want to say that they hit it out of the park! Whrn there is a set menu and a busy day,as there was for Mother's Day brunch, I tend to worry if the food will be up to the usual standard in any restaurant. I have been to other restaurants for holiday meals where the experience was hurried, overcrowded and the food sub par. Not the case at J's! The food was amazing! Did not feel rushed at all. This restaurant is a gem!“

Our server was very friendly.Update: Went again for dinner with my friends fam. I ordered the general tso with shrimp. It was delish. Everyone liked their food they ordered but the wait was too long. “This place it's cute, casual, like you are walking into Grandma's house through the back door (the kitchen) Service it's great, very friendly staff, they serve your first cup of tea, loved that. The food was to die for, everything was amazing. We got to try some new things and the scones were the best I ever had, so much so that I didn't even miss the clotted cream (they make their own, it's different but still good)Lovely atmosphere with a bunch of friendly people. The only thing is that it took an hour and a half for us to get our food. We had somewhere else to be so we kind of rushed through tea.Overall, great place with awesome staff and delicious food.“

“Never been there before , was in town for business, I ordered 2 eggs, toast and their home made hash. The hash was spectacular, a lot of places say "home made" and it's regular old fashion hash , this was definitely made in house . Prices are very reasonable .“

The employees are always super kind and patient, and will let you try a flavor if you’re unsure or haven’t had it before. They sell other drink and food items, which I have yet to try!Outdoor and indoor seating available.Dietary restrictions: Their flavor board clearly marks which ones are dairy free, contains nuts, alcohol, etc.“

“We had several meals here while in town for business, and every time we were impressed. So far absolutely everything is fantastic. My travel companion is a bit of a Clam Chowder snob, but he did rate it as “good” which is a great compliment from a Martha’s Vineyard/Cape Cod type of person. Butternut squash soup was good, the turkey chili was great for this Texas native. They also have an extraordinary variety of chips. Lastly, the pickles…. I can’t say I loved the flavor, but the quality is 100%.“

Amara was truly one of the BEST servers I’ve ever had-so very kind and attentive and helpful with making everything so perfect and then I believe her name was Camille-came to let us stay longer allowing our wonderful Amara to go home-something I thought was just so very thoughtful & kind-our family has been in the food industry for years and these ladies along with the manager were among the very best I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by!!! 100% will be back and I give this my highest recommendation!!!“

“Stopped here on my way back home from Boston and I was happily surprised by the warm atmosphere mostly created by all the handpainted food plate sign posted all over, the room is not that big and it was at full capacity when I arrived but I was able to sit on a table, waiter was friendly and food was very good, the fact that this restaurant it’s been in business for 76 years it’s self explanatory definitely going in to my favorite places“

“First time visiting Bennie’s. I liked the neighborhood atmosphere. Yes it’s small and old but I felt that if I went more often ‘Everyone would know my name’.My husband and I ordered nachos. So good. I only wished there was more salsa served with them. We paid extra for the chicken and it was worth it.I had a glass of Josh Chardonnay and my husband had a Bud on draft.Table could have been cleaned better but I never asked them to re clean it.I definitely would go back. Would like to try some sandwiches or meals.Parking: First come first serve. Located in a plaza. We had no problem on a Sunday afternoon.“

“This is a renovated labor of love and some details revitalizing the defunct Steak Loft. I have to agree with one of the other yelpers, that the ambiance is odd, not off putting, but while so much effort went into the architecture, the paintings and ornaments are really cheesy. So if you go by "first impressions" you will be seriously confused. But that part ends there, because you don't eat the decor, do you? With a name like "The Cellar, etc." you would expect a great wine offering. And wine is a very personal journey. I can only imagine it represents what the owners think memorable wines/approachable wines should be. THAT was my biggest disappointment. The wine list is - meh -. BUT I hear the bar and cocktails are well made. Judging by how loaded the bar was - let's say it's safe to assume they serve great drinks! ALL servers are smiling and moving around like gazelles, taking care of people with a smile and home-town welcome feel. Our server, Kathrine, was a delightful doll who aimed to please and had GREAT recommendations. As for the food? Not bad at all! They start off with GOOD BREAD (YAY!) and butter. Not a shabby start. We sampled the gooey, fatty and oh so flavorful crab dip. This stuff is so rich, it is a cure for a hangover. If you are going to drink - you want to nosh on this puppy. At Katherines recommendation, we went with one of their signature dishes that included a 12 onz NY strip, crowned with bay scallops, stuffing, a sauce. With 2 sides. We picked the asparragus and fingerling potatoes. $38 - not bad. The food was all very well seasoned, the steak was perfectly rare and not black-and-blue, the scallops were not ping pong rubber balls, and nothing was swimming in grease. In a nutshell? Good food. We were happy. Old school italian-american-ISH, steakhouse-ish neighborhood watering hole with something for everyone in the family - except people with food allergies. C'mon people. CALL AHEAD OF TIME and don't penalize a restaurant that put so much money and effort into the establishment because they can't cater to your health needs. JUST CALL AHEAD and if it can't be accommodated - move on or stay home. For the rest of the locals - enjoy. The people are lovely, the place is super clean (cheesy but clean - cmon owners, take some nice photos of cellars and landscape and blow them up, frame them and burn the BAD artwork from the walls! You will round it out by adding some less cheese to the otherwise beautiful walls!)“

“I would definitely recommend calling ahead or reservations - it was very crowded and had a long wait for walk-ins. The wait was well worth it - we ended up sitting at the bar with great locals. The seasonable cocktails were fun too! The brick oven pizza was so delicious and the staff were so friendly and personable.“
