“We stopped in after a movie on an early Saturday evening. It wasn't too crowded so we got seats near the street. Our servers (both of whom were working the bar as well) were just wonderful. Answered all of our questions and served good drinks. The menu has something for everyone. It is "bar" food but it was really nice. The food was cooked perfectly and all 4 of our meals were very tasty with just the right portions. We were glad we came and although we don't spend a lot of time in the area we would not hesitate to go back. Give this one a try!!!“

“Biltmore is consistently good. Better than good. Brunch was really good - Huevos Rancheros. It arrived hot and well cooked. There seemed to be many good brunch choices. Our server was friendly and helpful. I have been going for years and will continue to frequent.“

“1st time at this restaurant the service was excellent. The attendant was attentive and kind.Clam chowder was thick and yummy ($10) I ordered the keto plate ($40) the bread with butter was complimentary. The tips from keto board were tender juicy and divine the rainbow cauliflower and broccolini were cooked perfectly and so was the shrimp but the chicken breast was not to my liking the texture was off tasted like precooked Perdue chicken that was grilled and cut into strips too rubbery to me and chimmi churri sauce although I mixed it was just oily no flavor other that that everything was great.“

“We found this place near our hotel after a long travel day & were so happy the kitchen is open late. We lucked out! The food was delicious, not fancy or pretending to be more than it is, just solidly well prepared, priced, and presented. Staff were friendly and helpful with beer suggestions and tastings...a nice neighborhood vibe. We ended up going back a second time during our stay and had just as yummy a meal.“

“I love this place. My friends introduced it to me when I first moved to the area and my husband, son, and I have been going ever since. They do dollar oysters every day until 5:30pm, which is hard to find these days. It's the best deal in town! We also love the poutine and there's usually a few great local/seasonal beers on draft. Great atmosphere and the guys who work here are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!“

“Hosted a private event in the second floor space (private bar, restroom, and sound system) and it went perfectly. Comfortably fit 50 guests. Staff were attentive and friendly. Ray was responsive and helpful with planning leading up to the event. Pints were delicious.“

When my friend planned a going away dinner here, I reached out via email asking if it was possible for them to accommodate me. “Ideal spot if you’re looking for somewhere that’s still open late on a weekend. We went in and we’re pleased to see it open and also lively. The decor is fun and staff were nice. Slightly expensive for what you get but pleased to continue our night out here.“

“Service for a new person was quite good. Given how busy they were on a Monday, i understand. That said, I am accustomed to more attentive service from the more experienced staff. I have confidence the new person will improve. I still round up to a five star experience.“

“I really like the atmosphere and good service at the restaurant. I ordered Full Irish breakfast dish and it was unexpectedly big plate. The food was very good and Bloody Maria drink helped as well. Overly, I recommend the place. I took one star off because of the parking issues. The parking is not existent next to the restaurant and you have to drive around to find a spot.“

“Great Irish Bar! We stopped on our way back from seeing the Queen concert at TD Gardens. It was late so the kitchen had closed. We're not from the Boston area, but we felt really welcomed. Live music had left, but the music on playtunes was great! The bartender, was so friendly. My only regret is that this bar isn't where we live. When we come back to Somerville, Sally O'Brien's is a warm & friendly bar. A must stop! Thank you.“

“We hosted an end of year banquet for a student organization at Boston College and had a fantastic experience. We were able to book the entire upstairs to accommodate our group and have buffet style appetizers from 3-5pm. Kyle was great to work with and figured out the quantities of food based on our budget. The food was fresh and the staff were super friendly! They even gave us an extra half hour for everyone to say their goodbyes. We did not use the bar since we had some folks under 21, but they did cut and plate cake that we brought in and served that from the bar at the end of the banquet. They also hooked us up with a sound system and let us project on all the TVs. The students loved being at Cityside; and we definitely plan to have our banquets here again in the future. Highly recommend!“
