“For a cozy, comfy chair lounge around and eat your dinner spot, this was just the ticket. We were seated right away, despite the place being quite full and then the burgers were superb! Catering to a dairy allergy and getting it just right made a really nice meal. Oh, and I should mention the fries! Soft in the middle and extra crispy on the outside.“

“Awesome vibe, beautiful. Right in the center of Williamstown, on a road filled with places to shop or just have a nice walk down the street. Great food great dink choices and very friendly staff. Everyone working there had the same goal and you could feel it. The goal of making every customer 100 percent satisfied and leave full and happy. Highly recommend the Purple pub.“

“Great staff, food and reasonable prices. Everyone on staff and the owners do their best to make sure that you feel welcome. Over time you cannot help but see many friends and relatives there. Ed Bassi has the kitchen help going at a 9+ level and everyone raves about their meals. See you there.“

“Ordered take out from here 2 nights in a row. Want to complain about prices being a bit on the high side but i can't bc of plate size and quality make it worth every penny! On the first night had the NY Sirloin, Chicken Parmesan, French onion soup and Ceasar salad. The Sirloin was one of the BEST steaks we've ever had! Soooo tender and juicy with very little cartilage and cooked to perfection! Chicken parm was also incredibly good! Great French onion soup and same with the salad. Second night had the classic burger, western burger, clam chowder, strawberry rhubarb pie Ala mode, and strawberry cheesecake and again everything was perfect! Burgers are huge with really good fries, the best chowder we've had, the rhubarb pie was amazing and the silkiest and creamiest cheesecake! Found our favorite restaurant in town and we are pretty new to the area! Will definitely be going back soon! Absolutely recommend this place for dinner! Can't wait to try other items on the menu!“

“Chocolate craving: 1. Us: 0. This restaurant located in the beautiful Berkshires is pretty hidden, unless you're lodging at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, with John Harvard's being one of the many restaurants available during your stay. We both opted for chicken sandwiches. His was simple - cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. Hers was an odd pairing - caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, tomato, and...pesto? Yes, pesto. It was delicious, although the amount given was not very great and more had to be requested. The chicken was juicy, the brioche bun generously toasted, and the french fries perfectly salted. Service was great, we were perfectly tended to. Back to the dessert - the brownie was moist and chocolatey, the ice cream rich. All in all, the perfect item to satisfy that after-dinner sweet tooth.“
