A+ Dinner. We visit Traverse City a couple times a year and this was our first visit to Stella. The atmosphere is very cool in the lower level of the commons. The food was delicious, the housemade bread and burrata were simply amazing. Our server Shelby was fantastic and her recommendations were on point too! Will definitely be back on our next trip to TC!
The food is A+ but what sets this place apart is the service. Anna had experience, confidence, customer service, and personality!After our appetizer, she got the idea of what we wanted and ordered for us most of the remainder of our meal. Not only did she enjoy it, she was excellent and thought of all the details to make the dinner perfect!We ended up getting a bottle of wine, the octopus, the chefs plate, fingerling potatoes, celery salad, and foie gras. Everything good except for the garbage music. Why would a lovely Italian restaurant like this pipe in cheap, horrible pop music to ruin an otherwise relaxing evening? I hope they are more thoughtful about the music and sound system in the future.
