“What can be said? The food was on point for what it is, the service was excellent from the greeting to the bill, and I mean, it's a sports bar so you kind of expect what they offer.This location has always been great, and frankly, I've never been let down by the chain. Standards are high and it's super franchised, so the systems are strong. You can go to this location or one across the country and it's the same.The only complaint that I would have is that the value proposition isn't as high as it once was; but that's endemic these days sadly. It's not a failing of theirs, just a mirror into the macro.“

“We had a large party of 16. Service was fabulous. Various menu items ordered. Most were very good. Walleye fingers were thin and slightly overcooked. All others in our group were happy with their food. We have been there several times with larger groups and have had good experiences!“

“Always a fun time. They have remodeled and expanded again. A great bowling alley with a large arcade, bar, stage, bands, softball, volleyball, kickball... its a full entertainment complex. The food is good, staff is great at service and just a bit cranky until you get them to relax, understandable! All kinds of kids, grownup and corporate parties going on. Have fun! Great place.“

“We happened upon the Chaska CPAH quite by accident. The Juicy Lucy was a winner with my dining partner! I tried the Chicken Pot Pie with was good but not as good as the Juicy Lucy. Beef Barley Soup was warm and filling. Great service from our waiter! Great beers on tap!“

“HB’s is the closest thing to ‘Cheers’ that exists in the SW Metro. All of the servers are wonderful—many of them have been there for years. For all of those places that have poor/slow service because, “no one wants to work anymore,” take a lesson from this place. I’m really impressed with how consistently tight the service is, even when it’s very busy.The food has always been tasty, and there are seasonal updates. I’ve eaten here probably a hundred times and have never been disappointed.They have Double Up for a Buck for happy hour from 3:30 (I think) until 6. The menu pricing is extremely reasonable, and the tap list is always solid.If I had to make any suggestions, they would only have to do with being so busy around peak hours. There seems to be bingo there about 3 days per week and many events each week, and it’s pretty difficult to find parking or a table. It would also be nice if a pool table was pulled out and replaced with more seating.They have a stellar dog-friendly patio with TVs and rollup shades, so there will be more seating once it warms up!Thanks for being awesome HB’s, looking forward to coming back for years to come!“

“It was a very busy Saturday night when we were here. Food was great, service was excellent, and prices were good.The only thing I would change is the walleye fingers. The person in our group that got them said it was mostly fries and not a lot of fish. He said they were good though.“

“Our waitress was Tiffany and she was amazing! She was very down to earth and included my 2 year old in the conversation instead of acting like she didn't exist like most waitresses do. They were out of crayons so she offered my daughter one of her pens. We sat outside. It was beautiful outside and even though there wasn't a ton of people out there. We were checked on frequently. Food was good, got fish and chips and the pan fried walleye. Portions were comparable to the price IMO.Kid-friendliness: Waitress was so nice, my shy 2 year old hugged her on our way out!“

“Great sports bar! I rated low for service just because everytime i go they always seem distracted. Last time, the hostess just kept looking over at a different table that they may have hosted I guess. I get the loaded grilled cheese. It has egg, ham, bacon and it is AMAZING. Also its a sports bar so it has a well defined atmosphere.“

“We got a burger and wings and both were honestly very good. Very high quality food. We came on a Thursday night for the free acoustic music and we will definitely be back. This is a great idea and I'm glad they do it. This was our first time in here and we loved the vibe of the interior. Cozy but fun. Hams on tap, yum.“

Only real downside is that it's in a strip-mall, which really isn't a problem for me.Parking: Plenty of parking, it's a huge lot, but it's for a shared strip mall, so you may be walking a bit further than preferred...“

“I've been here a few times and the servers have always been great.Aumont never ceases to make my day when he's my server. He calls me and my friends by name, is prompt to serve, and always has a smile on his face or at least looks like he's enjoying his work.Mike is friendly, made my friends and I laugh and was prompt with his service.Both gentlemen went above and beyond while serving us.4 stars for the food because it's usually very good, but some things were lacking like the amount of sauce on my wings. However, we came in shortly before the kitchen closed with a big group so I didn't hold it against the kitchen staff. The food was still delicious and came out to us quickly.Sometimes the music is a bit too loud for conversation, but it depends on where you sit in the restaurant. I've asked Mike to turn it down a bit and he did without hesitation.Overall I believe this Applebee's is staffed very well and exceeds my expectations, my friends and I will be back again.“
