Normally, I would give Hillman Beer a four or five star rating for the quality of their food, reasonable prices, and quick service. However, tonight they had the music playing so loudly that you couldn’t hear yourself think, much less carry on a conversation. C’mon guys. Turn it down and make it pleasant to eat at your restaurant. Check those decibels.

What a great brewery! All the beers were awesome with our favorite being the Hazy Half Back - delicious!! Scott and Karen were both awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable. This will be a must for us whenever we visit Asheville.

Alisha was just great! I came in thinking I wanted a burger, but she directed me towards the Cuban sandwich which was absolutely sensational. The Hillman IPA was the bomb too!

Hillman Beer was a pretty good stop and one that I would recommend if you are nearby. The beer selection wasn't explored but the table did order a variety of food that everyone enjoyed. The staff was pleasant and brought a great attitude with to work.

I have to rave about how friendly the staff was here. Everyone we came in to contact with was so nice and helpful. The beer selection was great. The have flights available which we did to try many of their beers which they were great. They offer food and it was delicious. Tons of seating inside and outside and they are dog friendly. Free parking lot on premise with lots of parking. They also have beer to take with you.

Our first stop on our first trip to Asheville. Discovered this when looking for walkable dining from Cedar Crest Inn. If you don’t mind a little bit without sidewalks, it was an easy 20 minutes. We split a rice bowl and artichoke dip which was plenty for us and enjoyed a variety of beverages throughout. Food was great especially for a brewery, and the beer is among top-tier. Lots of seating, though outdoor was a little limited and a bit buggy by the creek in the backyard. Staff was really friendly and attentive, and the venue was fun and well kept. Hoping to make some time to come back!

One of our go-to breweries in Asheville. We always feel that it’s for the locals because the vibe is always chilled and friendly (not touristy). Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Service is friendly and they have great beers and awesome food. We love Hillman any day but esp Burger night on Wed!
