My wife and I went here for the first time this evening and it was phenomenal. Both the service and the food were great. We will definitely be back.

Recommended by Scott at Weinhaus/Asheville- and we loved it! The entire staff was so gracious and attentive. The moule frites and steak frites were perfectly cooked and predented correctly. We cannot compare this to a better one, because we haven't found better than this. I loved watching the pétanque league play. We'll share our lucky find with our friends; when we move here later this year this place is our top destination.

One of my favorite Asheville restaurants. Consistently incredible quality. Excellent wine selection and interesting daily specials. The chicken cordon bleu is hard to resist. Just as good as any French dish I had in

Amazing experience of French cuisine in Asheville, NC. We didn't have reservations and were prompted seated at the bar. We ordered wine, gin and tonic, onion soup, escargot, and steak Bouchon. Everything was delicious. Too bad I didn't make pictures of soup and steak... was so hungry. If you on date be careful Everything so garlicky, but you can not resist. We even met the owner, and he is a very down to earth guy. Can't wait to come back again.

Great if you go at 430pm too crowded and noisy after 6pm..they charge $7 for bread, which should be included w the meal. Our bill for 2 was $155

Great food, and it was a pleasure to dine here with a large group of 10 people. They allowed us to divide by couples and were attentive enough without being too much. We stayed until the place emptied out and weren't rushed out the door. Cocktails & wine topped things off nicely!Parking: Plenty of parking, all near to the door!

Unfortunately Rendevouz was a total fiasco night. My wife and I booked a table to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We got there 15' in advanced and no parking available. After waiting and talking to the metre'd she apologized but recommended that either we wait outside until someone left or just abandon the reservation. I explained that it was our anniversary dinner but to no avail. For future fellow sybarites, there is no parking at this place. Maybe arendevouz is only for UBER users...good luck with that one!

Incredible find just off the beaten path. I want to start by saying that the hostess was absolutely delightful. She greeted everyone like an old friend from the neighborhood and gave the feeling that we were definitely in for a wonderful evening. We ordered the escargot which was amazing. Served with an individual wafer on each escargot which is my favorite format of the dish. We followed this with a special of the lobster bisque. Absolute perfection. As an entree, we shared the full bowl of mussels. It was amazing how much flavor made its way into each bite even at the top of the pile. For dessert, we had another special of the crepe suzette which was the best way to top off the dinner. Overall 10/10 and will make an effort to stop in every time I visit Asheville from now on

We've been missing our favorite French bistro since moving here a few years ago and finally found our new go-to for French cuisine. Rendezvous serves nice and simple French fare in a beautiful and cozy dining room without the attitude. We arrived early with hopes of enjoying a glass of wine at the bar before dinner but a wine tasting was in that room. The hostess worked her magic on the scheduling tablet and found a nice table for us with minimal wait. The steak au poivre was a tasty and nice cut of meat with a light pepper sauce. The sautéed vegetables were hearty and cooked perfectly, as were the pomme frites. The boeuf bourguignon was also flavorful and filling. We enjoy a nice bottle from the wine list and finished with profiteroles.I can't believe we waited three years to come but expect to be regulars, maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday for all-you-can-eat mussels. And during the summer to watch the pétanque players.

My family and I ate here the night before Thanksgiving while spending a few days in Asheville.Everything was excellent. Our waiter, a young man whose name I sadly cannot remember, was delightful. He was friendly, answered questions, and made suggestions. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent across the board. My wife, who lived in France, found the food authentic and tasty. My daughters, two of whom can be picky eaters, found plenty to eat and enjoyed their meals. There was a great selection of entrees from which to choose.Highly recommended.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had!! The onion soup was amazing! Then I had beef bourguignon and it was delicious! My husband and his mom are from France and they also loved their dishes (pate, steak, pomme frites, and veal sweetbreads). We can’t wait to go back!!

For the last couple of years when visiting Asheville, I have wanted to dine here but for various reasons I could never get there. This year I finally did and I can't wait to dine there again.Food was sublime! I had the Rendezvous Ragu and my daughter had the salmon. We both loved our meals. I am not usually a fan of polenta such that I was hesitant to get the Ragu. Oh, that polenta changed my mind. My daughter said the salmon was absolutely perfect. We ended the meal with the sorbets. She had the lemon raspberry and I had the apple chutney with cinnamon, it was like eating apple pie ice cream! The restaurant itself is smallish, but very cosy. We arrived early so it wasn't busy. A bit later, it became busier and was interesting to see families with small children there. This is a French restaurant, but it is very unpretentious.Taylor, our waitress, was wonderful. All the staff was, from host to support. Also a huge thank you to the kitchen staff for the best meal we had our trip.
