My wife and I were here a couple weeks ago. I got the cheese steak and my wife got the Mac’s burger… we haven’t quit thinking and talking about the food since… the fires, the burger, the cheesesteak ALL OF IT. Simply amazing food and awesome service. It’s easy to see they take tons of pride in what they do.

Hadn't been to Black Mountain NC for some time. Had to pick something up there and asked where I could get a Philly. Macs came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. FABULOUS Philly! HOME CUT FRIES??!! I was in HEAVEN. RC on tap?? Could life get any better???!!! This will be our go to anytime we go to Asheville. It's worth the additional 20 minute drive.Parking: If you can't find a space to park, you can park at the visitors center on the corner.

Good food. Onion rings are beer battered. Burgers are great although I've had better (Portillos). The dining area is small and could be a bit cleaner including ketchup and mustard bottles.

Food is phenomenal! Chicken Philly cheese steak, cheeseburger, chicken tenders, fries and onion rings were delicious. Extremely small seating area. But super nice service and very accommodating. Definitely would go back.

Great place for a burger! My wife had seen this place while on a visit with a client and wanted to give it a try. It doesn't look like much, inside or out but they have really good burgers and the chips are home made. It is definitely one of the better burgers that I have had in a while. Probably the best burger in Black Mountain.

Great burgers! Small little place, easy to over look. Onion rings are good, grilled cheese was excellent but the burgers always steal the show, great crispy edges and enough meat to hang over the bun. They serve RC Cola, Cheerwine and even diet cheerwine (no Pepsi or Coke).
