This was actually my fifth choice for dinner. My first four choices were either closed for the day or had extremely long waits. Service was slow, to say the least. Other tables that were seated after me were served before me. The fajitas were hot but flavorless. Great view of the Super 8 Motel from the outdoor dining area.

A local gem. My family really enjoys Ole's. The food is always great, friendly and helpful staff, affordable prices. We get takeout more than we dine in and they never mince on takeout orders.During peak times, parking can get crazy, but people just park in the grass along the street on the opposite side of the restaurant.Sit out back when the weather is nice!

Super friendly staff, great chips, and the salsa bar is so much fun to sample from. Fajitas were tasty, but chicken was a little tough. Jalapeño margarita wasn’t very spicy, but the tajin rim was a nice touch and the overall flavor was nice.

Ordered fajitas. They came out sizzling. And we sat there looking at them. No tortillas. The waitress went off and did the checks for 3 other tables. There was still a little sizzle left at this point. Then she just never came back. Finally she popped around the corner and asked if we wanted corn or flour. I asked to see her manager. The manager, a young lady, came around the corner and made it clear she didn't really care. I feel like it's part of life to screw up but how you deal with it is what sets you apart. For me Oles kind of lost its sizzle today.

They should put more interest in Uber Eats orders. I just received food from this place and the orders are incomplete. They are missing things. The horchatas have no flavor. They taste ugly. I don't think I will order from this place again.

We really like the table side guacamole! The shrimp fajitas were good, but we would have preferred more green pepper & not the summer squash which is bland. We would like the option of chips with warm Mexican cheese if it was on the menu. The prices are reasonable & the beers are comparable to other Mexican restaurants. The service was very good. The bathrooms OK, not exceptional. The atmosphere is dated, but OK. We think its a good choice for Mexican food.

Arrive hungry. My family and I have come from greater Charlotte area, the coast of SC, and western NC have gathered at Ole's tables a few times over the years, and I am glad I can share my opinion. There are many lovely options in the Black Mountain area for good meals. The comfort of tasty Latin American food draws us back! The food is so good, and the staff have always been quick to serve and relaxed/friendly. But my favorite experience is to sit outside at a table by the creek, sharing spicy food, a cold beer, and loving conversation with the natural water feature. Olé!!
Use to be the best Pizza and Italian food around. It is really lacking now.

All the employees keep a smile on their face and makes me want to keep coming back. If you want something that is inexpensive and fills you up then I recommend Ole's hands down
