“I've been many times it's been great every time. The food is good, reasonably priced, and the service is good as well. The atmosphere has sort of a lunch counter feel to it, since they call out order numbers through a loudspeaker system. Overall 8/10 dine in, 9/10 food“

“My husband & I stayed here to celebrate our Anniversary. From start to end the experienced was above & beyond. We stayed in the Salon Spa Moon loft. The room was beautiful & communal space was very inviting. The grounds themselves were lovely with the most beautiful sunsets to see. We ate at the Silo Restaurant for dinner & brunch and cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful the food & service was. Tina the bartender was a gem who took care of us. We had a couples massage, highly recommended if you are willing to splurge. The attention to detail that goes into staying here is well noted. You will not be disappointed if you stay here & are looking for a unique experience compared to a boring hotel. My biggest regret was not packing a swimsuit to enjoy the outdoor pool! Thank you to the Horse Shoe Farm for a wonderful stay!“

“Another great night at the Purple Onion. The staff is terrific - they work together and serve with the right pace and attention. Last night we enjoyed salads and a pizza and not disappointed. The trout dip we started with was very flavorful and served hot. Crème brûlée to end the evening was perfect. The Onion offers a great reservation setup for live music. Thanks again!“

“Newman's Restaurant at the Orchard Inn is just a very special place. We have stayed there. We have dined there. We have taken friends there. We have run into friends there. We have enjoyed getting to know the owners and the staff. We look forward to our next visit as soon as we leave. It's about a 45 minute drive from our home, or we'd be there more often. The setting is exceptional - reminding us of Country Inns in New England. The views are delightful - especially from the veranda expansion put in several years ago. The staff is friendly - the pace is not rushed - the food is outstanding.“

“Had lunch for the first time ... the food was very good and plentiful. We had a Turkey Ruben and regular Ruben. The place is run by volunteers who were very friendly and accommodating. Their mission is very impressive. The service was a tad slow but they were very busy and apologetic for the delay. I would go back anytime and would also suggest you visit their thrift store next door.“

“Charming little theater. I hardly go to the theaters now days with this crazy world and all what's happening. I happen to visit flat rock for the weekend and decided to go see a movie with my husband and 2 teen daughters.They have a selection of cheese burgers, nachos, bbq sandwiches, hotdogs, popcorn.The theater inside is very small don't expect to be going to one of those huge theaters. The best part is the litte tables where you can eat your food while you watch the movie. The seating is first come first served so arrive 30-40 minutes before the movie starts. My movie was at 6:30 PM and it started promptly and I arrived at 5:50pm to the theater and there was already a family of 6 that had already occupied the front row seats of the tables with the chairs.Overall I loved the experience. The theater was full of family style people mostly grandpas and grandmas. I felt very safe.“

You can look till the cows come home but you can't find the epitome of good country cooking anywhere else. My Grandmoma died in 1993 and my Moma in 2013, never thought I would have good country home cooking like theirs ever again...until 6-29-22. Felt like I was home. “We enjoyed a fantastic meal here tonight. What a wonderful find in Hendersonville. We live in the Greenville SC area which is known for its food and we consider ourselves foodies so this place is definetly a must try. We had the pork belly eggrolls, my husband had the bulgogi and I had the country ribeye steak sandwich and to finish one of the best crème brûlées ever. You will not be disappointed here. “I was told to stop here from my sister and she was right. The baked goods looked amazing. I got a gluten free pizza. It was the potato but I subbed prosciutto instead of potatoes, yes nightshade allergy. It was delicious. “What a great hidden gem a day in the country is. Darling gift shop with clothing and unique gifts. They serve great wines from Burntshirt Vineyards and they're lunch sandwiches are wonderful. It's always my go to place when I have visitors in town as the setting is so pretty.“

“This has become a regular stop for me anytime I'm in the area. It's a local spot with a biker friendly vibe. Down to earth with consistently good food, especially the wings. The wings are always a good size with lots of flavors available.Service is friendly. They seem to be chronically understaffed, so be patient, the servers are doing their best. I called in my order 30 minutes prior to arrival because time was tight. When we arrived, a table was reserved for us and our food was out about 8 minutes after the drinks.Parking: Parking is directly in front of the restaurant.“

We then headed for the St. Paul Vineyards, only to find that they were fairly crowded, and that we'd previously visited there on an Asheville trip four years earlier. As we were driving out, I realized that we were only minutes away from Sonic happy hour, and an iced tea sounded like something I could get charged up about.
