“I met a friend here for ice-cream a couple of weeks ago. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, courteous and kind. The ice-cream was nice and cold and sooo yummy. There is no inside dining, as it is an ice-cream stand. They have picnic tables to sit at and one could always eat in their car. They have a drive up window for ordering as well. I had such a wonderful time and look forward to going back. If you find yourself in Etowah, or passing through, I highly recommend you consider stopping in for something. They also have food items too. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend.”

“Finding a caterer for our wedding reception was not an easy task as we aren’t from the area. When I first spoke to the owner Mike I wasn’t sure if we were going to have a really great meal or if he talked a really good game. All I have to say is WOW! The food was amazing, the smoked ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the salmon was delicious. Even their house made salad dressing was great. The servers were friendly, quick and professional. We were so pleased with the entire experience. Whether you’re looking for a caterer or a place to get dinner we would highly recommend The Salty Landing in Etowah NC”

“The nickname "Malt Disney World" truly fits. This place is amazing. I took the brewery tour and was extremely impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly Madison was. Afterwards, I had a few beers in the taproom, and honestly I didn't want to leave! Amazing experience from beginning to end, and I can't wait to come back!”

“My husband & I stayed here to celebrate our Anniversary. From start to end the experienced was above & beyond. We stayed in the Salon Spa Moon loft. The room was beautiful & communal space was very inviting. The grounds themselves were lovely with the most beautiful sunsets to see. We ate at the Silo Restaurant for dinner & brunch and cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful the food & service was. Tina the bartender was a gem who took care of us. We had a couples massage, highly recommended if you are willing to splurge. The attention to detail that goes into staying here is well noted. You will not be disappointed if you stay here & are looking for a unique experience compared to a boring hotel. My biggest regret was not packing a swimsuit to enjoy the outdoor pool! Thank you to the Horse Shoe Farm for a wonderful stay!”

“I don't usually go out to a coffee cafe, but had a work meeting scheduled here. Everything is so expensive to me these days, so maybe I'm not a good judge of pricing. That's why I gave 4 stars as it seemed expensive to me for a smoothie. Maybe that's why I make my coffee and smoothies at home. I've never had a "starbucks" in my life, so I have nothing to compare it to. Sorry.”

“I love stumbling upon a new (to me) find. I was driving down the road, and this tiny Mercado in a strip center caught my attention. Little did I know that it had a wonderful Taqueria joint attached to it. They had an extensive menu. Home-made tortillas? Yup! The meat ranged from the normal gringo styles (chicken and beef), to lengua, birria, and others.My server spoke very little english, but it didn't matter. She was nice and helpful. It seems like the shop next door serves the local Hispanic members of the community. This was a fantastic find!”

“This place in my opinion is the best of Brevard. The service is impeccable , the French inspired food is served in large portions, at a nominal cost. The chef is French, so that explains why the food is so good, do not pass up the opportunity to eat here, make reservations.”

“I was only visiting from out if town. I'm very impressed with the atmosphere, service and the food was heavenly. I wasn't sure what to have. They suggested the cranberry maple scone. Omg was it heavenly! If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be back.”

“Idk why we waited so long to try this place. Best BBQ I've had around here. We had the special which wad a smoked bologna sandwich 10/10. We also had the brisket mac-n-cheese 10/10 and the smoked wings 10/10. Highly recommend if you have an urge for some delicious smoked ”

“Great selection of beers , value and food ! Very good customer service . The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is that we sat outside with our 4 year old dog and the full food menu is NOT available outside … They treat dog owners as 2nd class citizens .. I heard they make the best chicken wings and pretzels with mustard , but they would not serve it outside ! I either have to leave my dog at home or else break up the party of 3 humans to enjoy the full menu inside and leave my dog and companions to eat separately.. I sure hope and pray that they reconsider this corporate policy ! Regardless of this, I would recommend that you visit this place if you are ever in the Asheville , N.C. area .”

“This is such a cozy coffeehouse and all of the syrups are homemade and delicious. I ordered a hand pie as well and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back to try some of the other flavors.”
