Today was our first time at Turgua. I rarely contribute to social media review, but this place is amazingly good. Uniquely inspired and very well executed brew. Spacious outback along the river make this place a must visit. We will be back often.

What a great off the beaten path brewery. Wasn’t a planned stop but so glad we did. Had a few beers along with some wonderful food from the Kinfolk food truck that was onsite that day. Nice wide open outdoor area for you to relax and enjoy the countryside.

I registered on Friday night for an event to set Monarch butterflies free on Saturday. I got to Turgua brewing at 1 pm. Then I was told the butterflies are not ready come back next Saturday. I feel this was a scam to get more people into the brewery. Because on Friday night they should have known the butterflies were not ready.

Very nice brewery in a country setting. We went there for the 2nd time yesterday. Very good beers on tap with a good selection. Seating outdoors and indoors. My wife loves goats and there are goats beside of the brewery that you can pet. Awesome added bonus. Cheers!

I have to admit that after reading all reviews before getting there, I was pretty disappointed when we just visited that place a few days ago. The hazy IPA was not hazy and very boring in taste and the cider they offered was boring and sour.

I would give zero stars. This brewery in a residential area plays music so loud that one cannot hear one's own music or TV inside, subjecting us all, 3 x per week, to their choice of music. While I am all in favor of local businesses, these people do not make good neighbors. They are not honoring the Buncombe County noise ordinance.

Service was top notch..drinks were out of this world..price was perfect.also the food truck nonsense was here...the menu is unique and flavorful beyond explanation..price was a little high on the food but worth every penny

Pleasantly laid back, great selection, friendly staff. Nice food trucks as well, Mehfil is one of my favorites.

Hate to leave bad reviews but the beertenders were rude. Wouldn’t give any details about the beer or let us try anything. Overall it felt like an inconvenience for them to serve us. Beer was not great. Cool spot though. Love the room to spread out. Wish service was better. :(

The main draw to this brewery would be the outdoor space here. Plenty of nice covered and uncovered area to hang out. A nice creek for the kids to play in. The beer was ok but not great. We love to try flights so we can get a sampling of all of a places beer which we were impolitely informed were never available here. In fact, the man behind the bar did not really want to give us a sample of their offerings. He reluctantly did give my wife a couple of samples and even said she was hard to please which was uncalled for as she knows her beer and likes a wide variety. The young lady that we delt with later was much nicer and more accommodating. I would not return based on the experience we had. Too many other better breweries in this area.

Was super excited to check this place out, it has such a great location with the water and wide open spaces....but the service and overall ambiance was very cold and unwelcoming. We arrived, walked in and had a few questions about some of the menu options. The bar tender at the time seemed less than enthused to tell us anything at all about the beer they made/had on tap. *a suggestion- if it's super annoying to tell people about your beers, maybe you could have the flavor profile/brew info somewhere to view inside (similar to how you have it listed on the website). *a recommendation to visitors- view the website first to see what you want.
