A huge Shoutout to Dreadife Kitchen at 3591 Chimney Rock Rd, Hendersonville! Our very first visit was at lunch time. We were greeted with a great Caribbean atmosphere that is very relaxing and spotless. We saw many other food items written on their blackboard that is not featured on their regular menu. Many Daily/Nightly specials with many tantalizing food items to choose from! We both ordered fried wings and smoked wings with mango habanero and BBQ sauces. Both of us ordered Mac n cheese sides. The wings are HUGE and so delicious! The wing sauces amazingly thick and incredibly flavorful. Excellent Mac n Cheese! It all was Fabulous and so delicious. Great staff, fabulous service, super friendly, very helpful and extremely attentive. We went back again the other day, this time with two friends and ordered their Jerk Chicken over Yellow Rice, Smoked Brisket, Collards, Fried Plantains and Banana Pudding. The Jerk Chicken was cooked perfectly with the right amount of spices and heat. It was outstanding! Their Smoked Brisket was so delicious! We were blown away with this flavorful, amazingly moist, fork tender brisket! Had a nice smoke ring. Collards were so delicious and tender. The Fried Okra was another perfection. Fried just right with perfect amount of breading and we loved the seasoning on them. The plantains were so delicious! Plus the Best Banana Pudding we ever had! We were delighted to meet the Chef-Owner. Very impressive, hardworking man who puts his whole heart and soul into his cooking and recipes. He’s amazing! All I can say is WOW! Outstanding Carribean Soul Food. Award winning wings!. Dreadlife Kitchen was featured on Food Network too! How cool is that!! Well deserved! No wonder Dreadlife Kitchen has been so successful! We definitely will be back! HIGHLY, highly recommend this restaurant, it is absolutely amazing! A Caribbean Soul Food gem!
