This is both one of the most unique places in Western North Carolina to eat and also has awesome food at the very best prices. Over the years I have noticed the same staff who seem to be happy and generally appreciative of customers! This is a lot about the owners:)
Great local spot! Great burgers, BBQ pork and ice cream. Minor snafu made right immediately. Thanks to everyone here. Great stopover between Greenville and Asheville! We will return.

I wish we had a restaurant like this in California. The outside looked like an empty rundown building with old animal statues on the roof. Boy was I wrong, it was the ambience of this place that struck me. When we walked in we found a long line of guests waiting to order their food. The highest price was $10 for a combo dinner that included a 1/2 barbecue chicken, two sides, hush puppies or Texas toast, a drink, and taxes, $10 total!
